You are forgetting the one thing that is not being spoken. They were in victory formation so the defense was not prepared and that is the issue. If you want to score or try to score then line up as such and let the defense have the opportunity to defend. No one is doing that in victory formation.

Easy Fix. It should impossible to advance the ball in Victory Formation. Just like it’s impossible to advance an onside kick recovery. No penalty if you try. The ball just cannot be advanced. The offense just has to control the snap.
