As someone who's been celibate for years at a time, practicing celibacy does not mean your hormones go dead and shut off. The only way to practice celibacy successfully is to be completely honest with yourself at all times. Brook is clearly attracted to Booby, but Booby is not celibate and probably not like Marcus at all who is able to respect that about her. His intentions of that trip was most likely to "be intimate" with her. With their mutual attraction, if he tried hard enough her desires would've eventually given in. That's why she didn't go. Anyone who's serious about celibacy will avoid any situation that would be too risky, like being alone together for extended periods of time. That kiss let her know she needed to stop entertaining him right there because he didn't have the same boundaries as Marcus.
