@mimsycici61852 жыл бұрын
Yes, but that was the reason he was a no7 pick and he wasnt even considered to be a no1 pick on any mocks and most of them had Blake because he was already NBA ready player with upside to become an all star which was good projection. No1 pick carries a big responsibility and high level of expectations, even more if you are picked by a bigger franchise. Personally, if I am a GM , I wouldnt pick Chet with my 1st pick. He is simply too raw of a player to compete at this stage and it takes good psychical strength to overcame "he is a bust" comments and just focus on your game. KD is a generational player, unique talent and still is so much emotional and vulnerable to media and fans comments. Not everyone has that mental power to deal with it.

What is Shannon talking about Chet playing small? Yeah his scoring dipped in some games, but I never saw him shy away from physicality. He was always in the thick of it fighting for the rebound, boxing out, or blocking shots. You don’t get over 100 blocks in a college season not playing physically dominant at a consistent measure. If Bruce pearl really wanted to help Jabari maybe he should have made him improve his handle. Seriously Chet for all his slimness is more skilled driving to the lane then a dude who’s 30 pounds heavier than him. Plus if Jabari doesn’t lose then maybe it was someone else I saw scoring 10 points on .188/.125/.500 splits while getting embarrassed by Miami?

You have to be nervous seeing a guy 7-foot play 6 foot against better players. He'll never be a player even at 7 feet to play with his back to the basket to exploit a mismatch. They'll just push him to where they want him. They'll push him right out of a rebound. Why NBA teams what to draft a guy that's 7 feet tall and take the advantage by taking it away having the player shoot nothing but 3s. Boston lost because they didn't use their size. They made it easy for GS to defend them with shorter guys when Boston have every player standing at the 3 point line. Get in the box. Draw fould and just around around and shoot over them from 10 feet.

Like almost too skinny, to where he could easily be liable for injury, cuz u bumping and going at it with grown men and all players who at ur level or better coming in, hopefully for Chet with all the help an NBA organization can afford to get him the right fitness and try and get him eating on a certain regimen and try and get him to gain weight and build more muscle, I mean hooks like a 7 foot pole! The best talent in the draft isn’t in the top 3 I think it’ll be Shaden sharpe or someone in the late rounds, this draft is DEEP potentially the DEEPEST ever

Physicality lol In this SOFT NBA. Maybe if you get late in the playoffs but Reg season they barely let touching. If he is gonna be a stretch also he will not be down low banging.

Well damn skip if a guy can't get out of his own way. Then that matters in the pick. Don't pick an injury prone or a basket case or a criminal. Sometimes it matters in who u pick. So yes you are to blame if you pick and idiot just because he is big or on potential

Magic should draft Paolo. Jabari gives me JJJ vibes, a 2nd or 3rd option, but not star potential
