This video was very informative to me as a single Black woman here in the US. I’m looking up content on this subject after getting into a healthy debate with friends on the matter 😂 I’ve come across women from several different cultural backgrounds who have expressed their opinions on this topic and it’s amazing how much of a universal issue this is for women. I’ve just subscribed to your channel. Take care! 😃

@futuristic vibes Honestly I can relate cos after my wedding some friends felt they needed to keep their distance. I got pregnant right away and there were times I felt so lonely and had no one to talk to. But I also realized that I had also not kept in touch with a lot of people after the wedding… so I feel that both married and single ladies need to do better and be more intentional.. (sorry it’s long post)

@@adaobimichaels Thank you so much for responding and sharing a bit more of your perspective! I agree, it’s the responsibility of both the single and married ladies to nurture and upkeep the friendship after the change of relationship status. I’m not a fan of cutting someone out of your life simply because you’ve married and have new obligations and priorities. Not indicative of a true friendship. This video segment was very insightful as well regarding the subject- m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2GrhYJ5f5p-qqc The ladies were very passionate about reasons as to why friendships may change after marriage 😌

From my experience married people don't value you after they are married or in a serious relationship

I think good friendship should be valued and good friends become lifelong treasures. Maybe speak with your friend if you feel they changed after getting married
