Look at all the people Naruto had forgiven: Orochimaru, for "taking Sasuke away from him". Itachi, for torturing his best friend ("brother"). Nagato, for killing their sensei Pervy Sage. Obito, for killing his parents. Sasuke, for imprisoning the taild beasts momentarily and planning to kill them along with him. Forgiveness was what broke the Cycle of Hatred in the first place. Forgiveness has always been a part of Naruto's character. I don't see why he won't forgive Kawaki. He will forgive, quite contrary to what people expect.

Hinata won't forgive but she won't hate him either. The big thing to remember is they are on pause mode. So when they get unsealed it'll be literally seconds after being sealed for them both. Emotions will definitely be running in overdrive. After they see what has transpired during their absence shit will get real really fast. That damn boy might get slapped again.

I think it will be a chain of events that will determine if naruto forgives kawaki or not. Look at it like this: naruto has always cared about other people and never really about himself. Like if someone hurt him, he never took it personally. But when it was a loved one, we know he lose his mind: example: pain killing jiraiya and then destroying the village. Regarding kurama and obito, naruto forgave kurama because despite the pain, naruto said he had always been there for him. Now with obito, I believe naruto only forgave him because he witnessed minato forgiving obito after preventing kakashi from killing him after the tailed beast were extracted. He realized that even in death, minato forgave obito for everything, so it taught naruto to forgive him as well. However, naruto’s whole personality will be different considering every bad thing that has happened in the village in 3 years happened to boruto, his own son. As we know, naruto is not truly a forgiving person if someone he cares about is hurt, so the moment naruto and hinata find out that their own son has be betrayed by the whole shinobi world and branded as a rouge ninja, they will never forgive kawaki. Will it be forever? Maybe not, but unless naruto witnesses boruto forgiving kawaki just as he witnessed minato forgiving obito during the war, he probably wont ever be able to forgive his own adoptive son. When that moment comes in the manga, and they get unsealed I'm probably gonna cry. I got all sad and sniffly like that when Naruto met his mom back in the day lolz. Naruto and Hinata seeing that they've been pushed thru hardships. Hima being a ninja and being one with Kurama; then Boruto with a scar and a stoic demeanor. The parents would be sad, Hima would be too. Boruto would be sad but trying to hide it, as his eyes sink to show it. I mean look at how he still defended Kawaki after he found the fastest way to Borutos heart .. if momoshiki wasnt able to restore him Naruto would lose a son. I think Kawaki will be forgiven eventually but before that Boruto is gonna punch some sense into his philosophy. We still don't know what their fighting point will be. I don’t believe it would ruin Naruto character just because we seen how hard Naruto worked to get the villages to live by peace. Just for kawaki to betray him. Causing someone who he sees as a brother get turned into a tree. His own son is being treated like itachi. Team 10 who treated Naruto as an equal since kids can all go to him and say kawaki nearly got they children killed. Ino and sai nearly lost they son. Naruto daughter is being forced to be a ninja. Kawaki is literally destroying Naruto world and hard work. I doubt he will be able to forgive him like other enemies. That being said he probably will understand but won’t forgive. I don’t see him turning his back on him but I see him looking at him differently

Kawaki is Sasuke. He's a hard-headed talented ninja that goes through a traumatic experience trying to gain power at any cost to protect the ones that he loves at any cost he has to be redeemed by boruto the same way Naruto redeemed Sasuke. The first few chapters of the anime were a few filler episodes, then they went into the chunin exams. It gets interrupted by a big battle. Is any of this sounding familiar? It's the exact same formula of Naruto to Naruto Shippuden so for people who say there's no connection from boruto to Naruto like is the same story told with different people

Honestly, its up to kishimoto and ikemoto, if kishimoto doesn't forgive kawaki, Naruto won't forgive him either. But ikemoto might forgive kawaki just like how kishimoto forgave Sasuke. But he'll have to bring good arguments to convince kishimoto otherwise kawaki will be cooked🍳. And Honestly speaking, kawaki will be eaten at the end instead of boruto. Code has to absolutely eat the chakra fruit and become a real otsutsuki. The real final battle can't boruto vs kawaki, it has to be boruto+ momoshiki + jougan vs code+Shiba's soul. It all started in part 1 when code bullied boruto and kawaki in the forest, then in two blue vortex, boruto returned the humiliation back. The shinju, ten Tails etc, all of this was caused by code, he has to be the final villain. Jura might even decide to devour code if he fails in finding Naruto. Unless mamushi captures eida and Daemon promises to reveal Naruto's whereabouts in exchange for eida. But he'll definitely poison her or he might either steal or destroy her senringan to prevent her from monitoring Jura's movements. The feudal lord and hiruzen's friends will cause konoha's destruction. Especially If shikamaru didn't tell them anything about Jura and what kawaki did. But hey, what if Amado somehow unseal Naruto? I mean he definitely saw kawaki sealing both through the nano cameras 📷 in kawaki's eyes 🤣😂🤣. I hope Amado uses the shutdown code, implant the karma for akebi's resurrection and unseal Naruto as well. If akebi also gains the same kokugan as kawaki's, their eyes might be linked. Remember how Kakashi and obito had the same eye 👁 and could enter the same kamui dimension? My guess is Amado plans to grant akebi the right eye of the kokugan which originally belonged to isshiki. Kawaki inherited the left kokugan thanks to isshiki's karma. In short, akebi might gain a karma on her right hand and both akebi and kawaki will have access to the same kokugan and the same dimensions, meaning, akebi can unseal Naruto thanks to Amado. 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣. I wish this happens. Or maybe code will gain isshiki's kokugan and a jougan once he becomes otsutsuki after eating the chakra fruit 🤔.

Here is what I have been saying happened in the future for the last year: 1. At some point Naruto and Hinata unsealsed. 2. Naruto is briefed on what happened to his son Boruto personally due to Kawaki and Eida. 3. Naruto disowns Kawaki 4. Kawaki is shocked that he has lost his "father and his purpose" and kills Naruto with his unleashed new power. 5. Kawaki now has a new purpose, to destroy the ninja way that Naruto held dear. 6. Kawaki destroys much of Konoha as well. 7. Boruto and Kawaki fight. Kawaki says that he will "send" Boruto "where he sent the seventh" while Boruto says that he is "still a Shinobi" like his father Naruto and teacher Sasuke.

If he can forgive Sasuke, he can forgive Kawaki. But Kawaki has to want redemption. The thing that’s gonna push Kawaki over edge is the fact that other than Naruto’s family, nobody else will accept what he’s done. He was able to take Naruto out the picture.
