I've only used the regular ASM1 & one of the weaker, lower variants of it & sometimes it feels ok, and sometimes it feels overpowered. I don't have the Speakeasy & seems like that's the one everyone uses to rip the opponent apart. A little nerfing wouldn't hurt, I guess. :)

the BAL was already nerfed, it stood its justice and still performs well, the ASM1 on the other hand is the complete opposite

i'm quite happy where the EM1 is after the initial buff, the SN6 needs a major range buff as I love that gun. the bal after the original nerf I believe is balanced well with the other assault rifles, with the asm1 maybe the fire rate of the first three shots adjusted? I don't think recoil is an issue as I think the recoil is fair, but either the fire rate of the first three shots be decreased or 3 shot kill range be decreased (tiny range nerf essentially) the rest of the smgs should have a damage/range buff especially the amr9. the EMP3 needs a big damage buff and thats about it. the LMG's are pretty good where they are at the minute. they wouldn't really change the way a gun is so theres no point saying removing the 2 round fire system cause that would mean totally changing the coding of the gun which would fuck up the game a little. I think what we have to be aware of is in every call of duty there are guns that everyone uses because they are more competitive, for example in black ops 2 the "sweaty tryhards" used the MSMC, M8A1, FAL OSW, SWAT-556 and the MP7

Camden Conner First of all, I think that the HBRa3 iron sights are gorgeous, but this is a personal preference thing and I don't mind if they make them better :D The Bal - 27 doesn't really need a buff. I think it is fine how it is. The KF5 with a max damage range increase? That weapon would be godly if you have the spanner like I do. I love the spanner how it is and the base KF5 is also pretty good. If all the SMGs were on par with the KF5, then that would be about right for SMGs as far as my opinion goes. I know this was all my opinion, but I'm saying this in a friendly way. From some people point of view, your list would be the perfect thing. I guess I'm one of those people who don't think your list is perfect. Don't get me wrong, your list is great it's just those things that I mentioned that would make it good for me. You don't have to like my opinion if you want too. I hope you take this in a friendly way :D

I know this is a bit off topic, but today was just the day where I couldn't take it anymore. Ill be the first to admit, eliteshot isn't the only youtuber I watch, and when it comes to call of duty, I watch others as well. But most of these people I tend to watch or see other people watch reverse boost. I'm seeing guys throw up 100+ kills and dna bombs like their nothing, yet they are getting views like crazy. In my opinion that is complete bullshit and skill based matchmaking has destroyed the way I view people playing call of duty. You're always thinking "are they reverse boosting"? But that's another reason why I continue to support Shawn. His content is great on a daily basis and he DOESN'T reverse boost. You fight for your videos, you work hard and it shows in your videos! The ASM1 has a bigger 3 shot kill range than the BAL, ARX, and IMR. The only base weapons that have larger 3 shot kill ranges are the Ameli and the HBRa3. ASM1 is OP.It has kills faster than everything except for the 2 slowest firing ARs and LMGs.

i picked up the asm1 rigor silenced and was picking people across the map with it. the gun is so stable..i cant really say why its so good but it does kill. like it kills so consistently. any other smg you have it just not as consistent as the asm1. sometimes people get around that corner and get away but that asm1 will pick you off before that happens. its accurate..i think the range is good. i have no problems with any distance. damage. its a perfect gun. no need for a sight on it.

the asm1 is the only gun I use because its sooo OP. it does need to be tweaked, maybe 1 less damage and 1 less fire rate for base stats or slightly increased recoil through the first few bullets. this gun is OP because you can murder from close range, it can hang with AR's in medium range and the accuracy is good enough to pick off from long range with the right attachments. assuming you play high sensitivity, this gun can turn on people like nothing too. this is my favorite gun since the tar21 in mw2 which I felt was a little OP in that game too

Asm1 no attachments / 50% of the attachments not able to be equipped. That's what I think or just no sights and the first 3 bullets the same as the rest (if u hit all 3 bullets you get the kill)

You should always have support on your UAV , and care packages....and why do you need hard line? Blast Suppressor is a must, and sometimes toughness comes in handy. Peripherals I always use, and Cold-Blooded , Low Profile I also always use and sometimes Lightweight ,depending on how many attachments I have for my weapon... Most of the time I use the Suppressor and Fore grip. Don't play search & destroy without a Suppressor! A Suppressor isn't really needed for other game modes but needed for SND & SNR , drives me crazy when I'm in a game and some guy is the last alive on team against 3 or 4 people & he hasn't got a silencer...

Well, I am using the ASM, too - in change with the MP11 Goliath - for me they are equally good, the Goliath more for close range the ASM for midrange. I don't know if there are differences between xbox and pc gameplay not only concerning weapons but also due to playing with mouse and keyboard. But I have the overall impression that on pc more players also use other smgs. Watching your videos I really get your point and based on what I see I would agree to a slight nerf.

To be honest the asm1 is just fine. The other guns like KF5,Amr9,sn6 should be buffed. I agree that People love the asm1 for its damage that's the main reason. Amr9 5shot burst smg if you miss you keep on shooting till you kill i hate it.KF5's a ranged weapon but the control could be improved to make it a real ranged weapon,sn6 should get a buffed fire rate as the damage is to low for it. and last remove that gun's 5shot burst AMR9 no one uses it as its to low on damage 5 shot burst,so if you shoot and the enemy move you pretty much end up dying.

I'll be honest, I was happy that the Asm1 got buffed because it lacked damage and power before its patch. However, now I do understand that it can outclass all the SMGs in the game. I wouldn't want the Asm1 to be tweaked because I like the way it feels and I like the way it handles certain situations. It already received a buff, I don't want it to be taken away, but maybe some minor adjustments should be made to it. I also think that some of the other SMG's need buffs , specifically the SN6.

I have completed all weapon mastery for all guns except snipers and launchers and there are some very fun guns to use in this game but i would like to use them in something besides hardcore. i have heard that some 15 guns are getting buffed in the next update, which if true will be awesome!

I think there should be less range for the ASM1. I looked at the kill feed and literally all the kills (apart from Shaun's') were by the ASM1. I also think the SN6 should get increased range by default.

Any gun could be considered OP with the right attachments and perks. That's like saying the snipers should have like a second delay between zooming in and shooting cuz if u can quickscope pretty effectively then its almost unstoppable. If they were gonna nerf it I think they should raise damage 1 and lower range either 1 or 2 but other then that its just one of the best guns in the game if ur not using it ur gonna get killed by it. Don't forget smg's were almost useless when AW first came out!

Great gameplay, Shawn. They definitely need to do something. I die more by the ASM1 than anything else in this game. It's not annoying if just 1 person is using it, but it's VERY ANNOYING when you go up against a Clan who ALL use the thing. Hopefully the next patch re-balances the gun(s). The fire rate should drop 25%. The damage should go down to 6, with 7 being for variants such as the Sweeper. The range should be mid-to-close range ONLY, with Advanced Rifling that goes up to long medium range. And it should have worse handling and worse mobility. It's not an Assault Rifle, after all.

I'm scared bc I don't use the Asm1 at all but I do think it should be nerf ed enough so it's still useable, bc they can't nerf a gun so it's like when aw first came out but I just hate when I hit someone 4 times with an smg in the chest and then 1 more bullet can kill and he turns on me and kills me from any range with three bullets. Clearly the asm1 is the most used. The most over powered. And the most annoying gun ever. It has the highest damage and mag size of all smgs. And has pretty much the best range.
