He really isn’t though. Snoop Huntley is twice as good as Daniel Jones. Go watch his last 2 games and how many times he has a receiver with nobody near them and he completely misses them on what should’ve been easy back yard passes on air. And he wasn’t even close. Snoop might miss by a couple feet on a long ball. Daniel jones couldn’t hit a 15 yard pass to a completely uncovered receiver. Multiple times in multiple games.

Daniel Jones would be the perfect signing imo. He has zero ego publicly, he's a very textbook smart quarterback (can pick up McDaniel's "Dolphense" 👀 quickly), and I believe he can handle the vortex that is South Florida (keep his nose clean off the field). He's big, he's mobile, decent arm, the only thing affecting this brother is the neck up; Mike McDaniel is damn near a master psychologist (humbly liken him to a Revenge of the Nerds Bill Walsh). The point is that he’s better than our backup Qb’s we have now. So if Tua goes down again we will have a more reliable backup that could definitely win us those games that our backups now can’t..

His years as a starter will go a long ways over our two backups that’s don’t really have that true starter experience.

@@RoderickSquadDMcCloud You’re straight tripping if you think Jones has the athleticism, agility, and brains to extend plays, move out the collapsing pocket, run for OPEN TD’s.. compared to the coachable Huntley.

Jones cannot even win on his own team that is built around him… who in their right mind thinks he can run this system. Just sad that my ears had to listen and read this one.

Hey, if we sign Daniel Jones, he would make a good back up quarterback. I think he’s better than what we have now. And with Jalen Phillips, I think he’s a good player, but he can’t stay healthy. He is injury prone. Dolphins should get rid of him and get the 20 million.

@ I know, but the Giants never really built around Daniel Jones. he doesn’t really have a great offensive line and he has no weapons to throw to and he’s got no running back since Saquon Barkley left.

He’s better than Skyler Thompson but will not be cheaper than Skylar Thompson. Next season jones will command a $10 million contract just like Sam Darnold got with Minny this year. Hell he might get even more. I remember Mariota after Tennesse got a 2 year $20 million from raiders to backup Carr. You are delusional is Jones is signing for the minimum. He is going to a team next season that is drafting a new QB and will bridge the gap in case the rookie QB is not ready.
