Should the Orlando Magic Sign Klay Thompson?

Klay belongs on another contender with other veterans who just need a sharpshooter. I don't feel Orlando is a fit for him. I'd rather the Magic pay big money to a young player who will grow with the Magic, not decline. I'm ready for them to trade our picks away and some assets to land someone like Trae Young, Anfernee Simons, Malik Monk, Dejonte Murray, etc. We don't need any more young projects that will take a couple of years. We need some young talent, primed to take the next leap and help Banchero, Franz, and Suggs set up the offense and shoot 3s. I love Klay, and completely respect his game, but at this point in time, I will wish him the best of luck on another team. Go Magic!!!

I say No to Klay Thompson, this man has won Multiple Championships and has nothing else to prove, him coming to Orlando will be nothing more then a Vacation for him, NO THANKS!! We Need a high caliber player who's hungry and seriously wants to win a championship with this team.🌟🌟🏀

I'm pretty sure Klay wants to help this team win a title and not it for the money he's not Lebron like what Lebron is doing with the Lakers Klay Thompson will obviously teach the youngins on improving and get better as a teacher helping the students

Klay knows what it takes to win a championship Klay is the second best shooter of all time and we desperately need shooting to space floor for franz and paolo to drive and dish Klay is hungry because he didn't get the contract he wanted in golden state Listen to klay talk in the playoffs, that dude knows how to lock in and he has his ups and downs, that's human. He would be a great leader and he wouldn't even need to dribble the ball, just a overpaid shooter who has length to defend on the wing with so I believe it's a win for us if we can sign Klay even if it's a overpay Paul George would be good but klay is great

The only way I would do more that 2 years 40 million would be if he took a 1 year 30+ million deal to eat up some cap space that will be free for us the following year. Beyond next year I don’t see the point for the 2nd year unless it’s not a lot of salary.

Gary couldn’t stay on the court his whole time in Orlando. Gettin Klay, who ain’t done it in years don’t make sense. Especially considering how much his defense has fallen off AND he doesn’t move the ball good enough. So, if they do sign him, they’d still need to sign somebody that can do those things. It just seems like we expecting Klay to do exactly what Golden State needed him to do and he couldn’t do it the last couple seasons. I’d like to see what his splits look like as far as when he was starting and when he was coming off the bench. We need our “Jrue Holiday”. Somebody that can come in and do a lil bit of everything at a decent clip.

I think Trae young fit the magic player age group and he can score and is a floor general with pass drop curry threes of the dribble. Then slide Suggs to SG position, franz SF and Poalo PF and find an athletic Center. Then develop Caleb and Jett. Imagine young, black, Suggs, franz snd Poalo playing small line up.

So you sign a declining Klay Thompson to stpuid money. And that makes much more sense than getting a younger Malik Monk for less with better upside. And the goal aint to help him to not pay state tax. To goal is to do whats best for the Orlando Magic.

Klay Thompson would be a nice addition idk why people are against it are we forgetting we need scoring on offense 🤔 so what Klay had a 0/10 game we are not gonna sit here and act like him being surrounded by a young Magic team is gonna motivate him to be the sharpshooer that he is because Klay Thompson is gonna be fine in Orlando

Nooooo. Watch Klay vs Monk the last two years in all of the GSW vs SAC games. Monk is so far ahead of him already, and Malik is entering his prime, not entering retirement. Maybe take Klay if Monk says “no”

like i said on twitter, im not against this idea. klay suggs, paolo franz wcj then the elite rotation 2, (needs a center) ... isaac, tobias harris, ab and jett. or throw tobias as the center and add another forward/lankey gaurd great on defense.

Im so worried this is the move that ruins this rebuild. If he don't come in and fill it up , the money we spend on him could seriously compromise our ability to keep Paolo, Franz, Suggs long term. I like Klay , its worth a shot but damn I don't feel super good about it.
