For me, it's a big fat NO to situationships. Medical Student na nga ako, so stressful na nga yung buhay ko HAHA. I'm already worried about becoming a Doctor, tska ayoko pa ma stress dahil sa mga pointless na situationships. Either we'll support each other and grow together for the long haul, or let's not do anything at all.

That's why theres limitations and boundaries. We must learn to differentiate friendship to romantic relationships, because if we're not careful, we'll fall into a trap and we can get hurt in the process. Learn to communicate and express with each other, don't beat around the bush and assume. If you can't handle the flame, don't lit up the fire.

Alex D does really understand how situationships work. Totally agree on most of his stand. Truly not for everybody but works for people who can openly communicate about their mutual understandings. Getting into a situationship is DEFINITELY not for the weak. You can't deny it but at some point either one of you will catch feelings talaga kaya if you wanna get into it or try it, your boundaries should be stronger than your feelings 'cos it's all fun and games until you're getting your feelings hurt.

Been in a situationship for almost half a year. It was one hell of a roller coaster ride. I was constantly debating whether to "stick around and see where this goes" or "this is a waste of time, I should let go". Kasi, there's this hope that what if the other person would change his mind and commit, although it was clear from the very beginning that things would not escalate. In my case, my hopes became delusions, and I stayed longer than I should. Every time I almost reach the finish line, he would draw a line and push me backwards. So yeah, my efforts were futile. (Fortunately?) He ended it, and I'm still here sa ere, with all my what ifs, why, and could've beens.

Maybe kasi you have limerence while meeting a person or being in a situationship kaya di ka makaalis and you keep holding on to that fantasy na what if it develops to something you wanted. Kaya you have to get out from Limerence first. But of course if you meet someone dapat you're on the same page kapag friends with benefits lang, hanggang don lang talaga, sa movies and dramas lang yan nadedevelop pero in real life, wala yan. Ang lalaki pa naman kapag sinabing ayaw, ayaw talaga. No one can change their decisions the same with fixing anyone or saving someone. Kaya when dating, dapat clear sa intensyon, if they wanna see what happens, give it 1-3 months then magtanong na kayo if you want serious or fun lang? Make sure you're on the same page otherwise baka magkaiba kayo ng gusto, nafall ka na ng sobra, masasaktan ka talaga in the end.

How about for those in a situationship because of the parents? I mean, i was the one who experiencing it right now, i am a man that loves another man, and mahal na mahal namin ang isa't isa, pero we're still in a situationship dahil baka hindi daw sya matatanggap ng magulang nya na lalake rin ang mahal nya, kaya naiintindihan ko naman sya. Last July 26 ang huli naming pag uusap, kasi he decided to stop the connection between us, pero he said na babalik sya kapag maayos na at klaro na ang lahat sa kanya, and a true love has a true trust, kaya nagtitiwala ako sa kanya na mahal nya ako at mahal ko sya.

lmao all i got from this is it's just so weird and ironic like how else would the term situationship have developed if not for it being this complicated limbo, a whole range of different things that are very specific to the people involved. people shouldn't mistake it as dating or as hooking up or as plain fwb either. it was better described as "It's Complicated" back then. everyone's "situationship" should be their own that's just basically it in fact fk it this even extends to "serious" relationships and marriage, as it's ultimately up to the people involved to decide and declare what their commitment is about. if either person is getting a whole lot of beating around the bush, or nothing when they seek to communicate and get answers about the relationship then they're just in a nothing. unfortunately there will always be people who are out to play in varying degrees of effort and intent, unfortunately they tend to be inconsiderate

I've been in this situationship before and to tell you frankly, there's really no clear indication of the "outcome" unless someone actually has the guts to make it official. The winners are those who leaves first and the losers are those who's realized it too late. It's a downward spiral, I've been in the shorter end of the stick haha really if ur currently stuck i suggest just go all out or go somewhere else.
