I can't believe you decided to forego the 0 cost event "You're the One Who Should Disappear" entirely. Not only is it something you can move to your last life using Newgate, but it helps tremendously with the number of bricks this deck typically runs. But I know I personally struggle trying to fit everything I want to in this deck, so I understand having to make hard cuts somewhere. Personally, I miss having Kikunojo triggers or Gedatsu plays, but 50 cards is just not enough room 😭 LOL Also, this is kind of a longwinded tangent but something I feel strongly about LOL: I know it's more of a personal preference thing and not objective by any means, but IMHO Charlotte Amande is a way better [Big Mom Pirates] 2k counter than Streusen. Its effect comes up way more often. I feel like people forget about Amande and IDK if I've ever seen anybody else play her out, but using her effect has won me more games than I can remember to count! Especially now with Sakazuki being banned and Hound Blaze no longer being a common threat, I've noticed a lot more people are starting to run 2c blockers again, and against Zoro or the rare R/G Law players, I hard mulligan for Amande as she helps tremendously in those matchups! Being able to pop a 1c with Streusen sometimes comes up, but it's rarer IMO and even then it's only a 1 time effect and then it's just a useless card on the board whereas Amande has to be removed via effects or she can potentially (if you've got enough triggers in hand to trash) keep resting characters turn after turn, which is nice for attacking into Zoro's board for example. Also, without 2 Million Volt Amaru, Amande is the only way to get past Enel's Shirahoshi blockers without giving them a life or free block. Just food for thought...

Isn't it better to go first with this deck so you have a curve of perosperos + leader ramp > katakuri/newgate + leader ramp > big moms?

it’s just easier going second, since you just need to ramp twice and you’ll have big mom turn 4 (done easily with bon kurei) whereas going first you’d need to ramp 3 times by turn 3 to achieve the same thing, which obviously requires more setup than drawing 1 main deck ramp card

@@Retr0Sk1ll I see that but I think playing perospero early is much stronger than mr.2 and if you play second there's no opportunity to play perospero until much later which is terrible since he has no counter and does nothing on play. The curve going first makes it so if you draw newgate instead of katakuri, you would play 9 cost big mom which is still powerful.

Rush Luffy has such an easy time against OP08 Pudding & King Leaders. They're SO slow on board development even tho they ramp that by the time they're ready to play their big bOdies they're already down to 1 life due to Rush. Then 10-Mom is a brick in hand and 9-Mom is their best play, but still won't cut it with a finisher attack.

I like the Idea of 1c Chopper being Blocker Chopper. I know the 3c one also blocks but I like to refer to that one as Candy Chopper since the art has a big focus on the Cotton Candy more so than the 1c. The 3 cost op-08 chopper I have been calling Doctor Chopper since it is during his time in Drum whilst he was still studying. And finally I refer to the last chopper that cheats into play Animal Character from hand as Reindeer Chopper since he is in his natural reindeer state. Just how I have been keeping track of them in my head while watching.

@@cardkaizoku Looked into it and you could use the Typing of the Chopper. OP-04 Chopper is from Alabasta, OP-07 Chopper is Drum Kingdom. EB-01 and ST-01 Choppers are harder to differentiate from. But from what I've seen ST-01 Chopper isn't commonly played in the winning lists.

Won a sb with the deck without the perosperos and played 10ace. Deck likes to play first for best curve and less aggro against swarm decks like rp law. Lose hard to lucci with their new jack in play and the deck has no way to remove that.... has a hard time against aggro when goind 2nd....enel and other slower slower decks are good matchup.

The 2 drop Kata seems interesting to me, but out of my testing so far, I personally haven't found the room to cut anything for it yet, but I'd like to experiment with it eventually. That said, the 6c Kata is basically a mandatory 4 of in this deck. It's SO good. I play only 1 8c Kata and TBH, it's too situational and I'm thinking about removing that one completely, but idk yet. There's also several other new purple Big Mom cards with very interesting and fun effects, even some really cool new yellow ones, and I REALLY want to play around with most of them, but I just can't fit everything I want to into the deck and it's SO frustrating! LOL 😅

I think what you mean to say is, this deck has a pretty unfavorable matchup into Law. Which yeah, that's true. Or at least it is for the current builds I've seen of this deck, but I'm personally still experimenting trying to find the right tech cards for that match up. That said, this deck is very good into most of the rest of the meta as most the meta is dominated by control decks right now. Heavy aggro decks have always been a good counter into yellow, or at least into Big Mom Pirates type decks historically speaking.

Black maria is the best released card in the game so far, nothing even comes close to that card. I expect law to be tier 0 as no other deck has been so far, the way in which you can remove characters while als developing 2 characters each turn is unmatched. With Maria wb is no problem for law
