3 questions: 1. I heard the making charge of jewelry in Dubai Souk is around 20% or more compared to around 7% in India. Can you provide a rough estimate of the making charge of a similar design in both countries? 2. Is paying by cash (AED or USD) results in 2.5% discount compared to using credit card? 3. For investment purpose, is it better to buy Bullions / Coins (instead of jewelry)? Since they don't have much making charge and can benefit from reduced gold price at Dubai + refund of the 5% VAT.

Yes actually coins biscuit make sense to buy but when i talk to jwellery man he told me only jwellery is allowed while travelling back to india you cannot take coins etc 24k carat stuff so its quite risky as custom may ask question
