summary ### Bangladesh attacks - God helps those who helps themselves (Jatayu fought the battle, lord Ram was pleased. Squirrel made tiny endeavor, lord Ram was pleased) - Concentrate on duty - Be detach - don’t demand for fruits - stick to duty - Protecting our body is not enough, anyways it is perishable. - Doesn’t mean that one should be careless about our body. - we should protect our body, because it is Krishna’s property. - For Brahmana → Doesn’t cause violence unnecessarily. ### God helps those who helps themselves (ccp) - one extreme → We alone will protect ourselves - other extreme → Krishna will take care of everything example (RSP) - Tiger lives in forest and human in city, both stays in their own area. - In human, some people are not ready to listen and coming in mob and going to attack. - We should have good protection in temples. (security of gate, members of temples) - fire extinguisher, incase some fire is there. - In case some mob attacks, then we need to be ready. - IT company protected by gun man. - Kshatriyas are supposed to protect, but if leaders doesn’t take swift action, then damage may happen. - Every human have right to protect their institution. - After all our protection, things will go out of control… ### Adequate defensive mechanism (ccp) - 4 different levels - Kshatriya govt. (It is there responsibility to protect),that is uncertain. - so Organization hires some security to protect themselves - we also have in ISKCON - Members who follow that dharma, who themselves have kshatriya inclinations - Already devotees, who are kshatriya in nature. - 3rd and 4th → are debatable - 4th one when devotees feel angry, and unless they do something, they are very restless. - and it ends up making everyone restless. And starts criticizing saying you are not doing any thing.. ### RSP - 3 levels for devotees who are having kshatriya nature They can go for - Leaders of the country, politicians, cm, pm, MLA, MP, etc. - IAS IPS IAS… - Join NDA, khadakwasla, etc. and then offer service to temple. ### 4th category - Volatile brain - keeps on talking about history. - We cannot be happy if we wipe out other community - Dhruva maharaj and yaksha, janamejaya and snakes.. (but they didn’t wiped out everyone. - Do something practical, if you are so concern about things. ccp - In ISKCON, challenge. - when we start a particular activity, then it almost means that we starts devaluing the other activities. - Saam, daam , bhed and danda… - In European countries. some religions are recognized by govt, then they get lot of support from govt. in many countries, Hinduism is not recognized as religion. - This is where we have to collaborate - In todays world, the kshatriya roles are divided into 4 - judiciary, govt, army, diplomacy(administration) - Before vena becomes king, immediately everything was chaos. - Sarva dharma sama bhavana - give equal protection to all religions. - - Fanatism - is like expression of Rajo Guna and Tamo Guna - it is like - If a sound produced for certain frequency for prolonged period of time, then it can cause death to humans. (It is sonic torture) - fanatical mind wants to use it for troubling and torturing others. - Ahimsa should be the first principal. 2 things - Rajas and Tamas manifestation. - Religions which are intolerant, communism. - hitlers fanatism was targeted towards jews. - some fanatics can target us or our tradition? so how to prepare for those… RSP - Proprietorship, controllership and enjoyer ship. - Alexander, Bali Maharaj, hiranyakashiput, dhritarasthra.. - first take control, then lord over, then enjoy over them. - Yudhishthira Maharaj allowed, everyone to live, he let the rulers to lived in the bound of dharma - Wars were not affecting the common people - but when people are raping woman, etc. - Alexander says and he acknowledged. - that civilians were never involved in wars. - In todays war fare, terrorist target normal people - In Vedic times, wars were fought for actual good for the people. ccp - Moral lines are quite clear in Vedic times - today things become complicated. - Pakistan teaching wrong history. ### back to Iskcon - SP wanted Varnashrama - 7 purposes of ISKCON - Varnashrama. - Natural way of living. - Some 3rd and 4th point devotees. ### Working together with other Hindu organization. - ISKCON alone will not much larger impact, so we are part of larger groups like RSS - Then we can use them, to do our work. - Collaboration, pandavas were having dozen alliances. But doesn’t mean that they were all Vaishnavas.

Not getting involved - Our tradition didn’t gave importance to political things - Vishwanath Chakravarti doesn’t speak anything about Aurangazeb destroying Vrindavan - Bhakti Vinod Thakur focussed more on teaching Wisdom to people who were receptive rather than teaching political levels. Getting involved example - Balasaheb Thakre helped for a hindu temple. - In america, they fought thinking that iskcon is cult, so they went to court to protect their cause. so it is matter of resourcefulness, rather than steriotyping everything. ### Dependence on lord. - In gross body, we think about comfort, - in mind their are likes and dislikes.. - dependence means going apart from these 2. - Gurujan prabhu said, only one thing one needs to learn → obedience - Obedience to the supreme will is dependence on lord. - Have faith that, lords knows well. Dasi Putra passed away when snake bit.. - It appears like cruelty. - but the mother was very attached to son, and child was bound on her dependance. - Then he became Narada - We have to broaden our outlook, - nothing can happen without his sanction, if something happens beyond our reach, then we have to accept our fate. Bad things happens to good people is universal principal - But when the bad things happens through a particular channel. - Accident is okay, but the car is having accident because the opposite driver is my enemy. - if someone is out to destroy me, and to see that it is gods plan, then it is difficult to digest, and if we see that, those person are motivated by their religion - so does god’s hand also exist in those bad things. - History - one country invading other, - In material world, due to effect of kala - SB 7.1._ : Vishwa Mitra example - Kshatriyas have to look more on immediate cause. - brahmanas are advisor, they have to be of big heart - Samarth Ramdas and Shivaji Maharaj - Chanakya pandit and Chandragupta Maurya. - Yudhishir and pandavas never attacked to others, they were always in defensive mode. - Krishna ordered at the last to have the war. - So kshatriya have to intervene for the protection of Dharma. - Meeting between Kardama muni and swayambhu muni.. - Kardam muni appreciated him, for his activities. - and encouraged him to walk in right path. - Vedic cultures accomodated. - chandala - other backword class. - Vedas are accomodating, they are kind to teach them and allow them to elevate - we need to have that broad mindedness to accept other religions also. ### Tolerance towards intolerance leads to impotence. - eg - one man wanted to stay in one corner of house, and then his demands increses. - that is assertive behavior, I allow to keep your freedom with my own. - It is satva + Rajo guna. ### Individual level, what can devotees do? - Hari naam protest. Most appreciated. expressing sadness in divine manner. - Self protection, (of deities, properties, devotees, etc) - eg- take help of retire mens from army navy, etc - Take ideas for protection, and arrange some protective mechanism for all places. - In the name of being in Satva Guna we should not be lethargic. we have to take care accordingly. - Enlighten people, not to have sectarian views. (Prasanna chitta, spiritual consciousness) - It affects spiritual consciousness of other people. - CM told Srivas thakur, not to fear while chanting the holy names. - kena upanishad → not even a blade of grass can move, without his instructions. ### Social media - Main stream media is quite leftist, but social media plays role in spreading information… ### ISKCON’s main activities is to study scriptures, and teaching them - So we have to discuss with the leaders of the country and ask for protection. - In Buddhism, monk hood is associated with Marcialates. (Karate) - In Hinduism, we have akhadas, - renounce order is not trained in these kshatriyas spirit. ### Hope for best and be prepare for the worst. - Material emergencies will come and go. - But spiritual absorptions should be intact.

Regarding your query, we do attend programs where multiple Hindu Organisations come together on common grounds : 1) Importance of Value Education in School 2) Cow Protection 3) Saving Earth from Exploitation We visit also different Organisations to learn from them on different ways they have adopted the Varnasrama culture to bring spiritual minded people to reside together and take to spiritual practice. We are not all powerful; nevertheless we should go for the best defense mechanism possible by us and then look up to God for ultimate protection. @@zakkiralahlihussain - As you said, Modern Man is struggling to find solutions to such pandemic through vaccination and safety measures, but the mass karma happening in the surface of globe in the form of criminal activities, abortion of innocent babies, mass slaughter of poor creatures, corruption and exploitation at different levels, pollution of natural resources etc is boomeranging back on Man in the form of pandemic because of man's disobedience to God's laws. @@RadheshyamDasDevotionalvideos u are correct..The viruses and bacterias are made by God ,which for assisting all beings on earth planet. the sufficient the oxygen is provided for beings existence by a group of bacteria which live ocean. Pl do not think corona virus sent by God to punish us .About 1500 years ago there was a pandemic on earth planet that lasted for more than 100 years on earth.these viruses entered in to DNA in human body and mutated . Consequently human beings' brain cells activated and human beings have become intelligence species..Like that covid viruses also will change whole stature of human intelligence by entering in DNA of human body..This pandemic and the vaccination will change human intelligence and stature of body in many ways..May be homo sapiens on earth planet going to transform to form and intelligence at where all existing social systems like materialism, spiritualism ,modern politics and modern civilization will have no identity..And replaced with new systems..Waite and see what is going to happen in next 50 years..
