@@Browncoat03-K64 The sort of thing that actually makes sense but disproves his point, or at least presents a diffrent viewpoint then his. Now, I am not from the USA, but I just refuse to believe that so many people there are actually that blatantly stupid. Another possibility of course is that they don't cut them out, but the people who are smart enough to actually have a decent argumentation are also smart enough to not engage in a discussion with him, knowing he has the ability to defame them or make them look stupid by editing the footage. I on my part would never join a discussion that I am not prepared for and that I am not recording myself. Also a lot of the "stupidity" like that mask guy in the sweater probably comes from nervousness or social anxiety. For example, I have anxiety which makes it difficult to put a thought into proper words at times. Doesn't mean that I am necessarily stupid, but if he puts words in my mouth like this guy it could make me look stupid. Also he talks to them kinda belittling which is weird. It makes the impression he wants to portray them as stupid toddlers, which is a common theme in propaganda. But regarding the content of the video: 1. I don't think the wall was a good investment of money. 2. A wall cannot be racist 😂 and 3. Tearing it down would be a huge waste of effort and tax money, since once it's already there it can at least help a bit in protecting parts of the borders. I mean after all Illegal immigrants do cause a lot of problems. In the first place for themselves, because they cannot rely on the help of the system when they need it, as the system doesn't even know they exist.

@Bufffarmbattles23 жыл бұрын
@@keynonburns4921 I think that saying you should let in immigrants because it's heartless not too isn't the best argument. Fear mongering over immigrants being murderers is a very manipulative and egregious. There are perhaps a few different things I can think of if people want to talk about immigration. 1. How many immigrants has the wall actually stopped. Is it worth what has been spent. Should they be have an easy legal route so authorities know that they exist in the country as having invisable people can make administration a lot harder. 2. Another problem is how about the positives that come from immigration like businesses starting, potentional revolutionary ideas that wouldn't have occurred if the individual didn't have the resources, potential friendships/ relationships/ being part of the community and being an overall net positives for the communities they join. A utilitarian analysis does have drawbacks like how vague it can be though. 3. I need to be careful about this last point and don't mean to suggest that is directed at you, it's a last pint for people that are completely against immigration and I don't know much about of your opinion. This very important and anyone hypotheically that is completely against immigration does have to face this last one. I agree that both sides do need to understand more then "immigrants are murderers. You're heartless for not wanting immagrants to come in" as that is so reductive and is a waste of time. Anyone that doesn't 'want immigrants going into the country which they live in. They you do have to face the real issue of people seeking asylum, coming from violence, prosecution. Facing the very real problem of being murdered, terrorised and tortured.
