Super helpful bro. Both are A0 for me. I feel like I’m going to go with Kigiri unless I miraculously pull another Sun Wukong to get him to A1. My main aim is to get a higher score on Apoc 2 now that I’m scraping by the 50k on NM4. I’ll never feel 100% confident in making the right move but I guess that’s just part of the game! kagiri is one tile range and sun wukong is 2 tile range so u can add tank before him and this is extreamly importnat only for this they are not comperable at all sun wukong much better

Kigiri can sweep like 5 tiles out so lol. They are very comparable ;)

Adding A1 Kigiri in apoc2 increased my score from 72 to 88k. Adding A3 Wukong on top of that, skyrocketed it to 128k. I would say having these two is the easiest way to conquer Semrah. Of course there are other ways, that just the easiest. They cover so many roles - cleanse, stun, tank, dmg dealing, just name it and they have it. And it feels so good to actually see your investment pay off.

That Monkey Business buff was enough to put me in a position to get my 30k on GB2 with just 1 key. I was close before WuKong, always losing at the same point against Acidic Venom since I'm unable to cycle my cleanse fast enough currently. Now, I just use Monkey Business to get past that part of the fight and just cycle back to it to end over 30k.

Prospector i did put two soulstones on Wukong to make him A5 and on Apoc2 he does 400mil damage with decent gear.I went from 43k max all the way to 95k.Thanks Pro really appreciate it!

Good Video i got 2 extra copies of wukong so he was A2 and i had 3 soulstones so i made him A5 and he became my easily top damage dealer for apoc even more then A3 Praetus and also my solo stunner. he really jumped my Apoc2 score and i hit 258k

@@enormicon I'd suggest starting to work your kigiri up to A3.. Unless you just want to prioritize gvg/arena but even then kigiri and swk both are top tier in arena so.

Still gonna watch the video to see your take but if I am gettin soulstones (unpolished) its best for me to get BOTH of these guys up to a5 before anyone else basically right? I want to use on my hex and silas but I know they can wait until both of these dudes are a5 unless im wrong.

@@CruxalYT pretty much yes.. As long as it's only unpolished stones. They're exclusives so they won't be available in the normal summoning pool outside of this event

I had to choose Wukong over Kigiri, even though it seems like Kigiri gains more (I had soul stones enough to get one of them to A3.) My reasoning was this: Wukong is just hands down easier to use across the board. Wukong has better auto attack range so I'll be able to find a place to use him a lot more often in various content. Also, getting the most out of Kigiri's ult takes so much more attention and management. Because every boss attack and special ability has different timings that aren't always super obvious by their animations, reliably getting Kigiri's ult timing down where he gets mostly Ember Strikes can be a BIG pain in the butt. There are things the devs could do to make him easier to use: change that window for Ember Strike to 4 seconds so it's exactly at the half way point in him channeling his ult so it's easier to see if you got the timing down or not, or leave it as three seconds and either give him a custom ult charging UI that highlights the three second window we need to strive for OR enhance the animation of Ember Strike dramatically so it's OBVIOUS when you've successfully timed the ult or not. However, even if that three second window wasn't an issue, there's Kigiri's OTHER ult problem: windows where there's no damage he can take to trigger his ult. Is the damage from a full 8 second charged ult that only gives a Sweeping Strike good enough compared to just holding it and doing auto attacks in the meantime? I have no idea. How many additional ults could Kigiri have done if he wasn't spending so much time holding his ult for timing purposes? Comparatively, Wukong has no such issues. You can use his ult as soon as it's ready and start earning charge for the next one. Even if Kigiri gains more from an A3, if it's at all close I suspect that Wukong ends up gaining more because he's so much more free to use his ults quickly with no downsides or timings to worry about. So between both better range making him playable in more content, and easier to use ult that requires no excess attention devoted to it, for me, Wukong is the clear winner for the soulstones.

if you can A5 SWK that's what I would suggest. Then focus future soulstones into Kigiri :)

i got just 1 copy of sun wukong and put 3 stones on to him and he already doing more damage than my praetus that have pretty decent SBA set, so i was thinking of putting 2 stones on to Kigiri and a thierd that we get tomorrow on kigiri to make him A3, but making sun wukong A5 feels like the right thing to do.

If you have 2 soulstones go for Kigiri for quicker results. If you want to play the long game and keep working on Sun WuKong then go for him instead. Though SWK won't keep up with Kigiri against bosses..He does offer more Utility in general WoR Content like Void Rift for example. So if you want to push boss damage go for Kigiri. If you want to push other content..SWK will probably help you more. If you have only 1 stone it doesn't really matter all that much which you go with ;)

I think I would put them both at A3 and work Wukong to a5 after that when you pick up more stones. That way they can both be valuable assets all in all :)

Top teams seems to prefer Wukong, but in my own testing, ive never seen a5 wu beat a5 kigiri in Semrah, and the util with cleanse etc is in wukongs favourite, dont really need stuns if you usin Carnelian anyways, not worth imo. I would personally prefer Kigiri over Wukong anyday.

Kigiri is so crucial! WuKong just slowly leaves my guy behind in my runs lol.. bout 5% which is alot in the billions of dmg lol

@@Prospector-WoR Yeah lol I have the exact opposite,1.03B on Kigiri and Wukong did only 3runs but was around 930-950mil, cant seem to out dps my Kigiri lel, also the artefact on my Kigi is +22 and on Wukong only +16. PS: Just discovered Kigiri without his exclusive does almost 50% of all dps. Tried it without and did only 560mil.

I am willing to bet that you would ult Kigiri through out the fight and SWK only during boss down until later in the run? That’s how Kigiri damage is so skewed because he gets to ult 2-3 times per phase while everyone gets to do 1 per phase until like 15 phases in. That’s a massive advantage for Kigiri. Not saying he doesn’t do massive damage because he does, but at the same time he isn’t as head and shoulders above everyone like his damage indicates. SWk has faster rage regen than Kigiri and does not have to hold his ult during boss down like Kigiri so if SWK was allowed to go all out on personal damage then I think he will do quite a bit more damage than Kigiri instead of neck and neck.

@@fabianzd3366 I completely agree. As I always say though with my Apoc2 Guides.. I will run the Hero as I would actually run him to optimize the runs damage verse the heroes damage. A good way to test this would be to completely do the opposite.. Just don't Ult with Kigiri and instead Ult with Sun WuKong throughout the first few evolutions. Technically Kigiri doesn't even need to use his Ultimate until later on either. Same could be said for Praetus.. People don't use him early on during the weaker phases. Good shout!

Honestly, this video is a letdown and basically click bait. I was hoping for a detailed breakdown and analysis.....but you read the awekenings for 7 mins which anyone can do themselves in the game. Then you explain the two most obvious awekening scenarios. disappoting.

It's not that simple for everyone though. And during the reading I breakdown the importance and benefit of each awakening. This may be obvious to some people but not everybody. Which is the reason why it's asked left and right every 5 minutes ;). What more of an analysis would you really need?

​@@IdontGiveAF-o3j You're right..I didn't mention that too much besides comparing there dmg overall to each other. Felt I needed to breakdown the awakenings to help people make decisions. If that's what is needed.. Kigiri A0-A2 GB1 = 100-150 mil. A3-A4= 200-230 mil and A5= 300+mil SWK A0-A4 150-200 mil and at A5= 300+ mil They really match up closely.
