LMAO I liked the line about brakes being costly, i actually lol'ed when you said it. I may go back to it as a part-time thing after winter is over, but I'm not totally committed to that idea lol Hope you have a good one Ash!!
@DashWithAshinCanadaАй бұрын
Haha it's still good for part time or side income but yeah if your car is back to normal and you have full time income , might as well keep that lol

I love not having to ever put on an alarm clock anymore, but you really do have to put in the hours and have good work ethic to make a decent living in this line of work.
@DashWithAshinCanadaАй бұрын
I have to still set an alarm for my kid lol at least it's for 6:45am. Definitely true about the hours needed to make the money , or a secondary job to help supplement
@benjaminhiebsch224Ай бұрын
Well at least in Canada we don't have to worry about paying for health insurance that will just end up being denied, delayed and deposed anyway.

I remember when I had 0 , RAMQ didn't even kick in which typically they do if you left an employer (I left Telus) took a while to get back onto it.

Yeah, but I heard that if you have major health issues, you could end up dying, waiting for treatment

Like any form of employment, gig work has its pros and cons. I love working by myself. Not having co-workers is something I enjoy

I second that Jacob. I may make less than I used to but I do love this lifestyle more.

Great content as always Ash. I have a question. Today I just got monetized and also got an Amazon Associate account. I see you have links to items in your Amazon store. Can you give me any advice or point me to someplace where I can learn how to put links to my store? I will go into your links and make some purchases as I need a new cooler bag, etc. Thanks Ash :) Martin
@DashWithAshinCanadaАй бұрын
Well, first of all congratulations on the monetization! Huge achievement. For the Associate account it's exactly as you saw. I am part of both the Associate program and the Influencer program. The Associate program is basically the intro to it. You need to drive traffic to your Amazon store front using links. You simply go on your Store front, look up some products and create essentially product lists for your viewers to jump on and see and click. They are trusting what you put you put so be good to them so don't choose over priced or things that aren't related to your content. So when I started, I put a lot of delivery product links in my KZbin descriptions and drove the traffic through there. You need to get 3 sales a month to remain in the program. Once you get some sales down, I highly encourage the Influencer program instead because then you basically add videos to your store front, tag the product and Amazon pushes it out for you on their own web page and when people buy your product, you get commission. I make a lot of sales per day due to the influencer program. If you have any more questions about it, feel free to reach out through Instagram or email (It's linked on the channel) so I can help more.

@ thank you so much Ash. I really appreciate you. You’ve been a major help and have been instrumental in helping me navigate my Uber Eats delivery journey. I was looking at some of the products you’ve linked and I’ll be placing an order later today or tomorrow as #1 I need it and #2 to give you a bit of a commission for your help although it’s not enough 😃🙏

Ash, what is your take on Amazon flex. Can you do a video
@DashWithAshinCanada29 күн бұрын
I would if it was in my area but sadly I can't because I have no idea about it.
@elviselvis780429 күн бұрын
@DashWithAshinCanada it's strange because one of my friend is doing it but whenever I create an I'd they say it's not available in your area, while we both are in Edmonton
@muhan8276Ай бұрын
I wish uber provided free cell service since we need to use data to get the orders.
@DashWithAshinCanadaАй бұрын
$40 a month ? That's beyond cheap lol most people have to get a phone with the plan which puts them well over $100 but I agree it would make more sense for these companies to pay for it
@muhan8276Ай бұрын
@ I meant phone plans should be at 20 dollars per month for the experience you get from the phone company
@frankiecarrrierivg03Ай бұрын
I pay $50 a month

NOPE, next video please :::EDITED:: okay well, I'll watch the video anyway.
@DashWithAshinCanadaАй бұрын
Why's that ? Didn't like it ?
@wildDuces234Ай бұрын
@DashWithAshinCanada LOL no. I can answer the question w/o the video. :::JADED GIGWORKER::: for those that don't know. I wrote that prior to watching the video. the video is spectacular! well done. I laugh though because we all know the collage kid is going to grab dads car and burn through the gas, get in a wreak, and galavant under the FREE MONEY eyes on the prize. while mom and pop suffer the consequences. the ppl that can't find work takin the low pay trash orders are not caring either way. it's laughable.
