Ive bee keeping tanks off and on for over 30 yrs. The hook is the tank. The cheapest part of the hobby . Back in the day 200 bucks for a 125 gallon. You go gr8 price, then all the other stuff..... Still the greatest hobby in the world

I always see people say you HAVE to spend several thousand to do a saltwater tank, without even asking if the tank will have coral, etc. I set up a QT tank with a 20 gallon aquarium, heater, a wave maker and some PVC fittings for hiding. I probably had $100 into setting it up and 2 clownfish have been living in there for way too long Speaking of that. I finally treated the clown fish with copper. The display tank has been fallow for like 6 months. How long do the clowns need to be in copper before they are considered parasite free?

I have 150gl it's been up for 6 months I do 5gl water change every week is that good

Its a bit lower than the recommended 10% but better than none. If parameters are stable its fine.

Hey, you could go with some zoanthids or palythoanthids, mushrooms, ricordia, toadstool, leather corals, xenia, green star polyps, or kenya tree. All those are easy to care for! Thanks for watching.
