There was no need to reinvent the wheel, just provide a better alternative to newegg and as far as I can tell, they're doing that. 2 weeks for the gpu is gross but it's far better than "7 to 31 business days" that newegg has been letting their sellers get away with.

@@Raansu The real reason for this isn't because "devs are lazy," it's because load times are significantly faster even if the only difference is loading off an HDD vs the disk. And current gen consoles (PS5, Series X/S) have SSDs. Actually loading these games off the Blu-Ray would probably multiply your load times by 10.

Can confirm this is all true. I needed to build a new rig for gaming and also for content creation, and while searching online, was pleasantly surprised by their offerings! Built my PC, but also got a gaming chair, lighting equipment and some other decor that fit my vibe. One of the items was sent wrong, but when I reached out to customer service they actually sent me the correct item and let me keep the incorrect item which I ended up using anyways. Shocked Pikachu face.

As someone who purchased a power spec do not I REPEAT DO NOT BUT ONE UNLESS YOU READ REVIEWS FOR IT! I got a power spec with and intel i7 11700k and it ran over 100c on a cinebench test and would randomly crash and reboot while gaming like red dead had a pny 3070 in it. Def don’t recommend any powerspecs with the experience I had. I went back to microcenter and they took it back and gave me store credit and I bought a asus pre build, mind you this was a year and a half ago gpus we’re still way too high. Really nice build tho I liked the case had magnetic filters I paid $1600-1800 for the power spec had 32gb ram one ssd crashed randomly and then spent $2600 on the asus build has a R7 5800 and a tuf 3070 works like a charm sucks I had to give them more money to get something that works 🤣

Nice video but I might add that PCPartPicker includes the provider product tax on the base total sum. So this PC is technically 130 dollars more expensive than what PCPartPicker found in the market. I understand you are trying to be positive about the purchase but honestly it's on-par with most Pawn-style PC stores out there, making your own research is still cheaper.

Man. I haven't had a brick-and-mortar place to buy PC components other than whatever BesBuy decides to carry in so long. If Gamestop started carrying PC parts in the store I would buy from them every-single-f*cking-time. Because there is literally no advantage to buying parts online anymore like there was 5-10 years ago. It would be a great pivot for them to focus less on physical copies and more on the hardware of all types. Esp with how heavy digital distribution is now. For perspective, where I live in Florida we haven't had a brick-and-mortar PC parts store since CompUSA went under.
