man, donruss was my first rip getting into the hobby back in 2021. i just went for it and got a blaster box. hit a downtown clyde edwards helaire rookie card. i was excited when i saw it but had no clue until after how big of a deal it was hitting it. Ended up selling it for over 100$ a bit later. not a big fan of the player but still a sweet pull!

Megas come with an optic preview in each pack, 6 total, in addition to the auto and possible numbered card. Absolutely better value than blasters if you can find them.

Was able to snag one of the megas by pure luck. Put on the “notify me when it’s back in stock” and less than 10 min later, I got the notification. Wasn’t sure how many there were so I really quickly added one to my cart and checked out as fast as I could and my order went through! I have a massive retail collection so I’m definitely gonna add it to that but gonna grab some blasters to open if I can find them in stores

Just now getting into NFL cards with my 8 year, I've enjoyed binge watching your videos to get an idea of the different lines differ. What do you do with all those cards that you don't want to keep, do people buy all those base cards? How close to breaking even do you think you would be from what you pulled from those 4 boxes?

You KNOW I lean toward megas, esp with guaranteed ink, but surprisingly I've seen some decent hits in these. I've seen maybe 2-3 dozen people open them so far and have seen 2 autos decent ones too & 3 Downtowns (Hurts, Stroud & Young). Soooo, tgere are big hits in these, but the odds I hit one- slim to none. Ive NEVER hit any special case hits & Ive collected off/on since like 82'/93' 😂 So, thats why when people say tgey gave bad luck I usually scoff & think- you have NO clue what bad luck is. 😅😅😅 Thanks for sharing! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 Take Care/Stay Safe ✌

I understand the price being inflated for the DT chase but what’s funny to me is that megas guarantee an auto so hypothetically you could get 5 megas (5 autos) for the same price as a hobby that has 1 auto. Thanks for sharing this rip with us!!

megas dont guarantee auto .. its says " per box on average" meaning they have loaded up tons of mega boxes panini points which replace the auto .. seen a few people get shafted on autos with mega openings so far, when they put on average that's how they get away with leaving autos out of some boxes. id rather hunt a downtowns in blasters for 25.00

They are not sadly. Hobby case hit guarantee, but not for retail. Saw a full case of blasters opened and no DT.

I've noticed that the print runs of football 🏈 retail cards have been going up this year. Telltale sign of a high print run is it being hard to pull numbered cards autos or case hits.

Technically, there is a Packer on the Downtown checklist but it’s one of the International Downtowns; Aaron Rodgers still in his Packers uni. Whether those can be pulled from retail, that idk.

folks pulling tons of downtowns from blasters, autos of other rookies arent worth price of megas. however i think megas have blue scope rookies so its a toss up, seen cj stroud down town and bryce young down town pulled from blasters

Just want to pick your brain. What are your thoughts on panini not having the license anymore? What kind of effect will that have on panini football cards?

Panini was ruled in favor by the court during their arbitration for them to retain the rights through 2025 so they can still make licensed cards for the time being. However i am absolutely done with panini at this point and there needs for be change in the hobby. I am hoping fanatics will learn from paninis mistakes but a monopoly is never good for an industry like this

They also only buy newer cards and they've gotta have serial numbers or autographs. So far out of like 8 blasters of this "product of the year" and probably 6 hobby packs and ,15 fat packs that I bought, they bought ZERO cards from me, out of them.
