So if you drove it back then what about the registration and insurance? I heard some people say you have 30 days to register it, but I also read you can't drive an unregistered vehicle and you have to get a permit for each state which seems crazy if you are going to travel between many states.

so i bought a used truck in Texas and i'm in CA. ive got it smoged, now i need a vin inspection. i need to go to the DMV for this. Do you know what else i need to bring to DMV for the inspection? Also the dealer wants me to mail them the proof of inspection when its completed, and i guess they mail everything off to DMV. does this sound right? kinda having trouble with this step of process. thanks

well it seems like your overthinking if you feel in the right mind you should buy out of state then you should cause some dealers are good and some are bad cause they their tricks and whatever yeah I would buy out of state that's only because I want something different therefore knowing if the dealer has good customer service and great selection plus good deal then yes I would buy out of state, there are risk keep in mind just be positive and always just pray instead of having a negative outlook either way if yourself feel its right decision or just go by your gut feeling alright.

Can a finance company include taxes for out of state and cut a separate check to cover the taxes. On a 50k vehicle it can be a large check to right depending on where you live

I live in CA and am about to buy a Raptor. In CA they all ask $10k over msrp or more. I currently have a deal for $2k under msrp going out of state. CA dealers suck.

My 2022 Mach1, that just got built yesterday, I will be picking up from a dealer in the Mid-West (Granger Motors, Iowa) in a few weeks, for the same issue. I couldn't get a dealer near me (Silicon Valley) to give me a deal at MSRP, and none would guarantee the price wouldn't change. My out of state dealer locked my price in back when I ordered it last November, 2% Under Invoice. Do this is saving me around $7250 from MSRP, much less than what CA dealers would add on to that. Now I'm looking forward to an awesome road trip bringing my new Mustang home to CA.
