I ordered a demo model on Sweetwater for around $1700 because a brand new one after everything is close to $2300. Then I went to my local music shop the next day and told them how excited I was about it and the guy there told me that I should’ve ordered through them because they could’ve gotten me a brand new one and for $1600! I cancelled my order right away and ordered the new one yesterday! So always check at your local guitar shop first.

Staright gnarly. I really want this guitar. I originally wanted the white tele but i think i like this better. This is about $1000 more expensive where i live (Aus) but its American made not Mexico like the tele. Wonder if that means its slightly better quality or something

Surprisingly my favourite Slipknot song is Solway firth, I really resonate with the lyrics. The way Corey pours emotion with his screams in that is so good
@nihilist925 ай бұрын
My god yes, Corey really goes for it on that one hey!

nice dark and haunting sound. Very melancholic. Hope it inspires some cool clean riffs. I also really like the EMG 60. I have one in my Ltd eclipse.

That guitar is massive! I’m only 5’7 and I imagine it’d look weird when playing. I still want to get it but not for $2.5k 😢

Go to your local guitar store. Some of them can order them in for cheaper!

I saw somewhere that the paint wearing was an intentional decision by Jim to give the guitars character.

This is probably my favorite JR signature guitar, beside the white charvel. I can't decide between the two of them. Which one should I purchase first? Note that I am planning on getting my hands on both of them at some point. Thanks for sharing, bro! Rock on 🤘!
@nihilist925 ай бұрын
Hmm good question. I’ve got another video where I do a full rundown on the Charvel as well which may help you to make a decision. I’d say the Charvel is definitely a lot brighter and maybe a bit more of an all rounder. I use that in my day job as a guitar teacher and there’s nothing it won’t do. Super high output pickups though so watch for that

Sitting and playing, how does it compare to the snakebyte? Which also has a large back end.
@nihilist925 ай бұрын
WAY more comfortable bro. The snakebyte hurts haha. This feels almost like part of you when you’re sat with it

If rain is what you wanted or psychodocial. Lovely guitar someday I may aspire to one. I have just bought and re setup a second hand Harley Benton (€90 I probably spend more on coffee 😀) not in the same league but at least I now have a Jazzmaster (of sorts) that actually does play pretty well.

Hey man! I just got one recently and noticed the strings buzz quite a bit. Did yours too? Also my neck pickup came loose as well. What did you do to fix it? Please help and thank you!
@nihilist923 ай бұрын
I raised the action to avoid string buzz and then i tightened the screws in the pickup mount and that seemed to do the trick
@swayiglesias3 ай бұрын
@@nihilist92 awesome thank you, it seems like tightening those middle screws made the pickup come up but it stays wobbly. It’s not super loose or rattly, just more wobbly than the bridge pickup. so maybe it’s supposed to be like that. As for the strings, seems like the low e loves to buzz
@keolahutchinson7687Ай бұрын
Same. My neck pickup in mine is a tad loose. It has moved in transport before and the pickup was not where I set the height.😳 When the setup is perfect the low e does buzz slightly more than most of my other guitars. Literally the only two things I can find wrong with it. Sturdy as hell though. I tripped and face planted it into the pedalboard right onto the pickup selector and it barely phased it. Sounds really good for what it was designed to do. And the only guitar I have that plays/feels better to play would be my Jackson Pro Series Juggernaut HT6.
