Should You Buy a Land Rover Defender?

I had nothing but problems with mine and got rid of it in under a year. Sunroof broke, pressurization systems, and endless small issues just added up. All under warranty but the real killer was the turn around time at the dealer. It would take weeks if not months to get an appointment. I just couldn't do it anymore.

I think they were pretty bad the first couple of years the new model was released. It seems that they have worked a lot of the bugs out.

I drive an 07 defender and was considering selling it for a new defender, I test drove a P300 and liked it but couldn't get over the price for a turbo charged 4 banger. Love my classic defender but it's not remotely the same car as the modern varient.

The old defenders are really cool. I’m sure it’s not as comfy, but if you like it, no sense in spending 80k for a new one
