Peace is a all in one unit that is half inside and half outside your wall. A ductless minisplit is more efficient and more expensive unit

Minisplits for smaller applications, so it would depend on size of new construction. There are no geo minisplits to my knowledge

I don't know if I'd do it again. Have this weird thing where one head will ice up, unless I'm running all of the heads, and then it's fine.

Midea makes the Carrier mini splits, and I have found Mideas other product lines to be of lesser quality than most. That being said, we offer both, but we highly recommend the Mitsubishi brand.

@@fireiceheatingandaircondit4363 Thanks for the quick reply. I have quotes on Mitsubishi, Daikin, and Carrier to heat and cool my 1000 sgft bonus room. The Carrier 38mar seems to offer the best bang for the buck. The other brands are anywhere from seven hundred to a thousand dollars more with comparable performance specs. Do you think the Mitsubishi or the Daikin is seven hundred to one thousand dollars better than the Carrier?

I am a big believer that you get what you pay for. I do not know Daikin well enough to give an opinion. However, as I sell both other brands, I truly believe Mitsubishi is a much better, more reliable product.

A properly installed ductless unit is very efficient. I would call your contractor to come look at it. We also have to keep in mind how much electricity has been rising.

@@fireiceheatingandaircondit4363 I know the cost of energy is rising. But with this thing on. I was blasting it at 84 degrees. But still my daily usage has gone from 32 kw. A day. To 64 kw a day. That’s tooo high. Something is wrong with the electrical hookup. I’m having it looked at.
