Nice review. But the guy failed to mention things such as one pedal driving, lane keep assist, collision detection and avoidance. More importantly, he forgot to say that this car does on average 27km per litre meaning a full tank of 40 litres will take you 1200 plus km. Oh and S mode doesn't stand for sport. It is smart mode. If the 0-100 km run was done on normal mode you'd have achieved a time of 8 seconds.

A well maintained base trim swift driven by a light footed driver can get close to those mileage figures. A swift can give upto 30kms/l on the highway. Waigera, 25:37 Swift Sport any day, any time. But nice review man👌🏾

Amos, tuning that engine to increase torque doesn't mean increase in power at the wheels. Motor output doesn't increase. The engine isn't turning the wheel. Note e power uses the same motor as Nissan leaf 110hp and 250nm of torque. That's why it was swift on the 0-100. It also comes with a one speed transmission. It doesn't shift gears. It's pointless having an aftermarket exhaust. It doesn't improve on vehicle performance. Vehicle electrics are powered by an auxiliary battery, sepyfrom the battery driving the vehicle.

Tuning the engine means engine runs quicker at an instant providing the power needed. And yes, free flow exhaust helps engine breath faster and that translates to efficiency

@@AmosMwaura where does the more power from the engine go? To the battery? Does that increase power to the motor? No. So tuning the engine makes no sense. Maybe if you said the nismo comes with a powerful motor than the standard one.

@daudi85 You are mistaken, the power runs in parallel form, meaning it doesn't have to be stored first. If you drive it, you'll feel engine revs changing with throttle position to provide the needed power. Tuning affects the revs depending on driver input, hence affecting power. That's where the difference between Nismo tuned and base trims performance comes

Guys, on a constructive critisim basis; Nissan E-power comes only in one trim. "E-power" like a VW e-Golf. Nismo is only in the Internal Combustion Engine trims (like the way Golf has TSI, GTI or R), and they come with some modifications in their engine tuning, suspension and body-kits. If you see an E-power with the badge "Nismo." Hio imebandikwa hapo, so that you unnecessarily pay more. Kaa chonjo. Alafu pia, you can't tune a Nissan Note E-power, the same way you can't tune an electric vehicle like a tesla. The tune is standardized from the manufacture. Hapa kuna "Sera" mingi imesemwa.

Nope, difference btw nismo na other epower is tuning, bucket seats na different sporty body kit. Engine runs a generator that charges baterries. Electric motor draws power from battery to run the wheel drives and regenerates when not powered to a stop.

What is e power? It is an electric vehicle by all means! Instead of charging kwa stima, epower inajibebea power source i.e. the engine! At no time does the engine drive the wheels- normal hybrids both the engine and hybrid battery can drive the wheels.
