Bought a second hand 12 pro about year and a half ago for 400€. Phone is fantastic! It does all that’s needed, it’s fast and battery is good enough. Planning to keep it untill iphone 17 is released. Then I’ll go for 15 pro. 😁

@@rilerile5037 Of course it’s good. It’s fast, reliable, good cameras, ok battery… If you’re not heavy on gaming and use phone for “normal, everyday tasks” you’ll be fine. All that if the price is right, of course.

iPhone 12 Pro has 6GB which gives it better performance then the standard 12 and even standard 13 in some cases which have only 4GB ram. It has aged well and the X2 telephoto lens is nice to have for an iPhone this price range.

I’d rather take the 13 over the 12 pro. The 13s design is more modern, notch is smaller, it has a newer chip, and most importantly the battery life is significantly better on the 13

If you have the regular 12 I'd stick with it. The 12 Pro does have a couple of nice upgrades, but not enough to justify swapping it out for the 12 you have now.

12 Pro. You basically have the same wide and ultra-wide, but you also get a telephoto. The selfie camera on the 13 is slightly better tho.

Going back over a decade I experienced a time roaming through a remote sparsely populated area where I had phone service but "Was NOT ALLOWED" to make calls! We should know in some circumstances phone companies will prioritize enabling calls to authority restricting the public at large! Satellite connect-ability with Apple purchasing their own Satellite System is a reality changer; to my understanding, emergency satellite phone service will not be restricted! From my perspective, any consideration other than Iphone 14 or above is UNTHINKABLE, if you have family or significant loved you want to communicate with. Imagine wanting to stay in touch with someone in Israel?
