Should you Buy an S650 or Terminator Cobra in 2023?

All big facts here. I’ve owned every mustang from the fox body to s550. I’ve owned and sold every generation of Coyote mustang and my terminator has seen them all come and go.

i got my Shelby GT350 and still bought a terminator. Terminators are very very unique cars, and people just love these cars.

I bought a Terminator and haven't looked back. It's my all-time favorite Mustang. Yeah, the S550 and S650 are more refined and have all the modern technology, but I prefer the old school and raw feel of the Terminator. Plus, my Terminator gets alot of looks and thumbs up on the street.

THE best part about having an 03/04 Cobra, as you know well, is you learn a LOT about how to work on cars. QUICKLY. Those fancy new bougie Mustangs don't come with that training package.

Minor stuff, eh? Mines been on jack stands more than the street, there’s constantly always something to fix on it (20 year old car, it’s to be expected). But I wouldn’t sell it for anything

Are your cars modded or are they just unreliable?

@@Sloimer A little of both honestly. They are 20 years old and modded. There a constant flow of parts that are going bad from gaskets, bushings, electronics, etc. Anything that can degrade over several decades.

Terminator for me, when I first saw and heard this car, I was hooked. I prefer cars that are more analog and raw than the newer stuff out.

Imo the terminator cobra is probably the only mustang that's respected by everyone regardless of brand loyalty

I've been a Terminator owner Fack the alternator issues, grounding issues, my filler neck just quit one day. I ripped it apart cut vent lines deleted charcoal canister everything still jacked up.

To be honest I’m a Chevy guy and had 2 C6’s back in 2007 (S/C’d A6 & Nitrous M6). Loved the Terminator since I was a kid so bought an Ox White with 23k miles last year. Would never trade/sell it for a GT500 or an S650, EVER!

The S650 has a punchable IPAD display screen. As much as I’d like punching that tacked on IPAD screen I think I’d rather keep my Terminator.

The s650 is gonna be the trendy car, as with any new model mustang and any car for that matter. It’ll be cool for a few years, then everyone will have one and the crowd moves on to the next. The terminator, that’s a purist car with a cult following. Owning one is a whole lifestyle

Owning a Terminator is a commitment... Love the newer cars, but can't trade it for the smiles it brings to me and others that know what it is. I love it when someone sees my car and loses their shit. That was me before owning one. 😅 Edit, sometime it's nice to drive something that not everybody else drives. 😅
