Isn't the ATVM95C cartridge on LP70X significantly better than AT3600L on the LP60X regardless of stylus used?

Go for the LP3XBT.

Have you had any SKIPPING issues with your LP70X? I bought TWO LP 70X turntables from Amazon, and they both tend to randomly SKIP! I bought two brand new albums days before getting the lp70x tables, and am experiencing skipping😡 In most cases, they will get "hung up" and skip a few revolutions, then start playing normally. Kinda bizarre, in my experience...🤔 I've inspected the LP's under magnification, and see nothing wrong in the areas where they skip. Keep playing that lp70x, and let us know if you have this problem 👍 I'm really curious what's going on with these things ❗

Does it skip right away for you or after a few plays? I just got a new lp70xbt and the first 10 plays seems to be fine.

No skipping yet but I’ll let you know!

No issues here either!

I had the same problem and reached out to AudioTechnica’s warranty department. They sent me an upgraded stylus and mat and it fixed the problem.

@@lincolntse4330 both of mine were skipping pretty much immediately. But, then again, sometimes not at all. Hard to fix something that won't stay broken!

Is it that much of an upgrade from the LP60 I currently own
@ForeverAnalog3 күн бұрын
I don’t think you have to rush out an upgrade. This is more applicable for folks trying to decide which one they should buy if they don’t have a turntable.

@@ForeverAnalog thanks for the honest feedback. I think ill just replace the ATN3600LC stylus to ATN3600LE

That’s a great deal! I’m glad you found a turntable you like!

I would start with a U-Turn I don’t believe that straight or curved tone-arms make a difference necessarily There are $50k turntables with straight tone-arms I have had both and would use either There are a lot of great options in starter turntables and these would be just fine

I have a u-turn in my office! Big fan of everything except changing the belt for 45 playback lol

@ I have a Theory but I only have 33s and it has speed select But I am thinking about adding second u-Turn and it would be a manual speed model and it would stay on 33 and I like simplicity. I had a Technics 1210GR2 and probably got it because of nostalgia from growing up in the 60s/70s The Theory is so much better for me Love your channel just got a couple Rekkers for $200 on Final Call

A turntable is an analog item why should I switch to digital with a analog turntable 🤔
@ForeverAnalog5 күн бұрын
You mean with Bluetooth output? I agree but I think it’s a big feature with newer buyers 🤷🏼♂️

@@ForeverAnalog I think new buyers will be not happy for a long run to start with this kind turntables. If you start with this great hobby of Hifi I think you should go with a Rega, Thorens or something like this and you can get them already for 300 Euro. My opinion sorry

Here’s hoping they start here and work up to those great tables 🙌🏻

@@stephannordmann5346 Entry level is entry level for a reason. Its not about being Elitist my girlfriend and I just got the LP70X this past September. We used it with Bluetooth for the first week & then converted to using RCA. in your world you want people to buy a $400 Record player + MAYBE used $100 speakers + a $200(or more) receiver + $75 preamp BEFORE they buy a single record. That's $775(roughly) could actually be much higher again before they buy a single record at almost $30 a piece. So no buying a "automatic" record player that can connect to a speaker they already have in their house to start is a great idea. Spend less to start and understand if you like the idea of having to properly maintain your records & flipping the damn thing when its time for the second side. Not everyone is going to notice the difference between BT and analog, but for those who do they open up a wide pathway to explore more and more into the future.

I find it so stupid that folks would go out and buy $40 £35 albums and can’t go out and spend good money on a real turntable. I love AT TT’S… BUT these are cheap and plasticky. Your not gonna get a listening experience at all.

@@KeenVanguard why spend $40 on an album…and ummm if you think it’s a hobby your barking up the wrong tree.
@KeenVanguard8 сағат бұрын
@DJStanSteel $30-40 is the average cost of a brand new record for recent music. If you don't think Hifi and collecting record isn't a hobby you should reevaluate the choices you've made in your life.
