I really liked Far Cry 4. I remember when it came out lots of people dumped on it claiming FC3 was better. Vaas was definitely cool but overall Far Cry 4 is my favourite.

Far Cry 4 is definetly worth buying no matter what year. It has smooth gameplay, a decent weapon variety, nice graphics, a good story, 3 different endings which adds more replayablility, and overall a great game. I've 100% finished the game and I must say I loved every moment of this game, Far Cry 5 is so disappointing compared to 4 in my opinion.

Not to mention the "Creative mode" they had as well where you could design your own levels and outposts which was freaking awesome. And the Yeti DLC and even the Escape from Durgesh DLC was good though I prefer the Yeti DLC bc it takes you to an entirely new open world map that I enjoyed.

What I liked about 4 was how it improved upon 3 technically (better takedowns, more guns etc) The shock I felt near the end of the story that Pagan was going to Ajay Kyrat if he just waited was so surreal, surely it could've been better if ruled Kyrat firsthand.

I loved the system of hunting in Far Cry 3 and 4 (especially in 4) where you had to hunt animals in order to unlock weapon holsters and increase the capacity for wallets and lootbags. I was disappointed that hunting had a reduced role in Far Cry 5. I also was disappointed that there were no looting and skinning animations in far cry 5 like in Far Cry 3 and 4. I wanted to know if these animations and the system of hunting in 3 and 4 will make a comeback in 6

Fun fact in Far Cry 4: 1. Longinus is Kouassi from FC2, 2. Pagan send Ajay and her mother to US for when Ajay come back to Kyrat, he be nether (Nationalist or Traditionalist, both faction of kyrat) for he broke the blood chain of civil wars that the country know, basically Ajay is his heir. 3. you can find a hideout of Jackal (FC2 "villain") at a brothel in the north region. ;)

This is my favorite Far Cry. Just finished replaying FC3 and currently replaying FC4. FC3 may have a better story but in terms of gameplay this game carries all the same DNA except its so much more polished. Theres tons of small improvements that make the gameplay experience so much better. I also rate the map much higher than FC3, it’s such a beautiful location and the improved graphics look amazing, I prefer the graphics in this game even compared to the newer ones like FC5 (haven’t played FC6 yet). The story is pretty good as well even if it’s not as good as the one in FC3. All in all a fantastic game that I would recommend to anyone.

I liked Pagan Min more then Vaas More believable written scenarios between him and protagonist.Still to this day I will never know what happened on Vaas's little mini Island before you "Killed" Him Also I just wanted to be his friend from the very beginning and wanted to just hear him more. Loved hearing his remincing old stories through radio chatter and how he would even give Ajay some life lessons and heads up about the golden path.

Far Cry 5, a trainwreck? I bought it on sale this past week and it’s my first Far Cry experience. I adore Far Cry 4 I remember when I first bought my PS4 back in 2014 I got it with a bundle with GTA5 which is why I got a Ps4 cause all my mates were playing it and Far Cry 4 was part of that pack. I did'nt actully play it till a couple months later and I was hooked its sort of a guilty pleasure for me I play the game at least once a year. I think the re-playability is amazing since the story can be diffrent each time even if the ending the same. Either way I have good memories with this game.

Ajay is the most nimble protagonist of them all,Ubisoft includes some of hes abilities on 6 like car to car takedowns but in 4 you can do it even on air vehicles to be specific your little chopper thingy thing,you can do takedowns with that thing on ground targets in fact there's a mission where you have to kill Pagan and you go behind him on the chopper thingy and you perform a takedown from the vehicle only that it wasn't Pagan it was a double and you end up with a wig on your hands,but it was an awesome way to introduce this kind of takedown,then on 5 all the badassery was throw out of the window 😒

Far cry 4 is in my opinion the best far cry, that i played, i played 3, 5 and primal, 3 was similar but something was just missing, sidearms in vechiles, elephants, fortressess but it had a great story, same with 5 but with worse protagonist. Anyways back to 4. My favorite thing about 4 were fortresses, it is a shame there were only 4, and had only 1 or 2 helicopters attack you, but riding an elephant into a fortress, tearing everything that moves with a MG 42, that shit was better than coke. The outposts were fine, but the best ones are hard and very hard, they required more planning and tactics. The progression, much like in 3 i felt, with every kill i progressed, with every new skill learned and gun purchased or picked up, i made progress. The Guns, they were the best in the series, customizatiom was limited, but it was limited the right way, not like in 5 where you can make every gun overpowered, and slap as many attachments as you want on it, in 4 it felt balanced, you had to make a choice for example, you either have a supressor and a beter scope or extended mag, you can only pick 2, the guns were also nice, all of 3's guns were included in the arsenal, and a few new ones added, also using sidearms in vechiles was a good addition to 3. And it was nice that you can pick up weapons that you dont own, go to a store, and become their owner, and unlike in 5 most weapons are used by NPCs Pagan Min Pagan is the 3rd best character in my opinion, right after Vaas(2nd) and Chad Volanski (1st) Pagan was cool, you know why, i dont need to explain The story Explained in the video Conclusion Pagan needs to be in the story more Ok bye

Played through 3, 4, 5 and 6 in order recently... 4 is the best and still totally worth it in 2023. 3 is showing some age now but 4 is smooth. The general open world and clearing towers/outposts is perfectly balanced, fun with just enough animal and enemy randomness to keep it interesting. Holds up really well. 5 feels a bit messy in it's randomness at times.

Ive gone back to playing fc4 lately, I think it might be my favorite even though fc5 has more variety. Wish the loot was more interesting though, there's not much reason to explore because the loot is all just junk which converts into money. It feels like I completed fc5 pretty quickly, but have only just unlocked the north half of the fc4 island, despite putting 100 hours in when it first came out

I love Far Cry 4 because how it really shows moral dilemma. The three sides are greatly flawed. I just wish you have an ending in which you can rule Kyrat (you'll have Royal Army and former Golden Path that sided with you). But as it is, the game is great. The AI here is somehow smarter than Far Cry 5. I love that game as well but the enemy AI isn't really the smartest one out there

i prefer Far Cry 3 because overall the antagonists were a much bigger part of the story like Voyt and Buck. Killing them actually felt satisfying cuz they got on your nerves. The way you defeated them too was so cool in my opinion, the knife fights were so tense. Yes they were quick sequences but at least it felt like there was a buildup, confrontation, and then a result. When I killed Yuma i literally didn’t care at all, the fight wasn’t even with her but in some kind of drug infused dream. Pagan Min is a great character and should have been more present throughout. I just started Far Cry 5 and so far the story is more interesting imo but the gameplay is… oof, honestly a bit hard to use? Not in a skill way but just simply in a intuitive way. I’m a little lost on how to adjust to the new interfaces and it bothers me that the MC doesn’t talk at all.

Far Cry 4 was the first Far Cry I 100%'ed; which was only a couple of years ago, but still. I genuinely love it. There's just something about it that makes me want to replay it over 3, even though 3 is my favourite and one of my Top 5 favourite games ever. The increased gun variety, history of Kyrat, villains backstory, Shangri-la and it's Bells? There's just more about 4 that I love. Yet... It's not my favourite... K.

Oh, and did i mention that in some games you instantly fail the mission if you get detected? So now you creep behind some counters or something. Great! All you have to do is steal some ultra secret documents from a heavily guarded facility (i’m not referencing any games in particular, so don’t go thinking i’m talking about any game i’ve played) oh wait, what’s this? Theres an enemy blocking the path! Well, lets just do a silent takedown! Wait, whats that? The detection meter is filling up? Better run to cover! Wait no theres someone already there- perfect! Now restart the mission! So you do everything again, only to get detected by the person guarding the path whom you took down earlier, because you don’t want to waste your goddamn time waiting for him to turn around for 30 minutes! Well too bad, you suck. Now restart the mission! Oh, and did I mention that aside from the usual guards blocking the path, there are also guards that patrol and randomly walk around seemingly always appearing right next to you when you’re already dealing with another guard? Hahahaha. Ok, lets just say you got past all the guards, hid all the bodies and somehow managed to not get detected and you get the objective. Phew, it’s finally over! Lets just pray to god the mission ends here. *nope.* You triggered the alarm! So now you gotta shoot your way outta there! Which doesn’t sound bad, but after an hour of excruciating stealth gameplay all you ever want now is to end the god damn mission.

Started with FC 5. Liked it enough to try FC 4. Ended up beating 4 before beating 5. 4 is awesome.

Slightly off topic but I just want to point out that I think this was the last farcry where the wingsuit was actually fun to use. I hate the wingsuit in farcry 5, not because it is too hard to control, but because it is too easy to control. the map design does not compliment a wingsuit very well, since you are just slowly falling to the ground and staring at your screen, there is no thrill of anything flying past you, by the time you hit the treeline you are already pulling your parachute. Atleast farcry 4's map was built with a wingsuit in mind, because its actually hard to control, there are actual obstacles in your way that don't make using the thing a cakewalk.

Exactly and there’s a lot more opportunity for wing-suiting with far cry 4 I feel like with the mountains and hills. Far cry 5s map is a lot more flat

I am playing thought the series backwards. Found the wing suit and parachute really jecky. Like sometimes I would just deploy parachute fall and then just die but you can also just ram your head into a wall with a glider and take no damage??? And sometimes wing suit just would not deploy? Sometimes you could go thought trees and sometime it would kill you?? Just felt really risky to use. I am playing in hard mode so maybe it’s different in other difficulties.
