Ohh, so basically it's like Lego Star Wars the Clone Wars for all eras. Never played the ST Lego games but Lego TCW was a huge step up and was way better than the past games. After playing it, I couldn't go back to the old ones. I love Republic and Separatist Assault so much. I had it where the Republic controlled the world's that had the more fun Republic assault modes and the CIS controlled the ones with more separatist assault modes. My favorite was usually which ever mission have me more AI to work with on my team.

I think the only reason the space battles always feel so disappointed is because the original Battlefront 2 set the bar very high. If they took the space battles from Skywalker Saga and mixed it with the multiplayer destroying star cruisers from the inside gameplay from Battlefront 2, it would be perfect.

Fallen Order is also an open world game for the planets you visit (the endgame planet much less so though), and lacking an fast travel while on the planet means you will be exploring and consulting the map a lot.

The gameplay is super fluid and relaxed. You waltz through the levels with a sense of ease and joy. Plus the puzzles aren't as annoying as the typical Lego game usually requires, and the levels really invite you to explore the world, while not forcibly so, as you can quickly just go through the main storyline.

actually there is already a a Rogue One character pack in the game. The side quests are nice but almost all of them are tedious fetch quests... E.g. go find my datacard in this area, talk to a few people, go to another planet, talk to more people then come back...

I have put in 78 hours in Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga. Looking back I never religiously played all of the Lego games, I often found one or two that I enjoyed playing every so often and ended up completing those. Lego worlds is one of the Lego games that I completed almost immediately after it came out, the next one was Lego Lord of the Rings. But I will have to say as a collection of Star Wars games in Lego form, the Skywalker Saga is really good. The only other Lego Star Wars game I played was Lego Star Wars episode 3. That game had a lot of problems and pacing issues that made the game more irritating been fun but the concept I love. Now I don't expect any game to go as far as Lego world did in terms of being as Lego as possible, but the Skywalker Saga comes really close to being the best Lego game. The only real issues with the game that I see and that really hinder the gameplay are the fact that the AI is absolutely terrible in terms of actually attacking anything and I really don't like it how the health bar is shared for everyone when you switch. Aside from those little issues I do like the pacing a lot more than most other games in the franchise, and the lack of puzzles except for certain missions increases the pacing tremendously. Lightsaber combat is fun and mostly fluid, the shooting in the game is basic but oddly satisfying especially once you get to the original trilogy. And while the game has some very clearly rushed missions, the biggest one being the speeder mission on Endor, I feel like the content in the game is varied enough that I don't really mind all its flaws. It's fun to play, and the maps are fun enough to explore. As far as the collectathon aspect of the game it could be a little bit better. But to fit all of the Star Wars movies cohesively into one narrative they did well hiding all the collectables and giving more characters specific rewards to find. The upgrade system is a hit-or-miss for me personally, as I think some upgrades completely mess up combat due to how powerful they can become. However I do like the system because it adds another layer for a player to want to gather all the collectables. And there's some specific setups you can do to make combat a little bit more enjoyable while not breaking it entirely. For example I like to turn the villain class into a support unit for when I'm doing side missions or going into free play, and I like to play my character with no damage upgrades but a few defensive upgrades. I normally also have one extra perk activated at a time and most of the time that happens to be just stud multipliers and the little companion you can buy to assist you in combat. But I understand why they did the upgrade system just add a little bit more depth to the combat system oh, I just think it needs more RPG mechanics for that upgrade system to work to full affect. Enemies often die too quickly to really get the most of the combo system as well but it is still fun to encounter certain enemies that are relatively tough and pull off some good combos, along with the fact that I do like the damage numbers and the HP bars on differing enemies. I think if they had added a little bit more RPG mechanics to the world and enemies or difficulty slider to make enemies have a little bit more HP and do a little bit more damage it would have made the combo system a lot more enjoyable. But at the end of the day it is a Lego game geared towards kids and fans of the genre that they're creating. All in all I think it is a really good Lego game with a lot of flawed potential that they didn't get to fully realize. But when you look at it compared to every other Lego game you can see how much effort they put into make it different from the rest.

Been playing with my little brother lately so if I love the combat I love the open world and to think I love about the most is I get to go food though all night to start with movies till I love to watch as a kid and you know as an adult. Just got 100% in the game today and boy was it satisfying. The reward for 100% is useless but I love the fact I can just go to every world and mess around. It’s a shame the npc’s won’t attack you at all though like in previous lego games. There just isn’t that much endgame content. Makes me hope we get a Rogue One level, The Venator Class Star Destroyer, and maybe some Clone Wars content thrown in there too. Hell, even some Rebels content wouldn’t be horrible.

aproximately 80 hours 100%. You should absolutely buy it. But maybe wait because there are A LOT of bugs. The game crashed every time on a certain level and sometime the game just closed and some graphics glitched sometimes but the gameplay and the story overweighs them a ton. So even if the game is glitched and you encounter a few bugs you should still buy it

Im really liking this game, however i must say that the one thing that is bugging me is how short all the missions are, some does not even take 5 min. And i dont like that there are only 5 minikits and it is WAY too easy to find them. I remember there being more puzzles and them being more difficult to find in the earlier games, loved to puzzles of the clone wars. The grind to get all kyber bricks is a bit to extreme for my taste but i see the appeal so some people. 90% of them are too easy to find so it is just a grind of running places, not much thought put into it. But with all that being said, i enjoy the game and probably will complete it fully as with att lego games

I agree about the levels lengths but there is action and levels for the episodes in between that which makes up for it, in terms of puzzles the old games had puzzles so easy that it's hard to actually call them puzzles

This game is very impressive from voice over to cinematic cutscenes with the almost Mel brooks comedy twist to the movies story. But after becoming sick of open world based games lately. Elden Ring has flipped the genre on its head and is a breath of fresh air. Whereas this game which ofc I know is also made for children it just feels like any boring open world game today set In a galaxy far far away. I guess what I’m trying to say is wait till this goes on sale because it’s not worth 60 dollars with it’s side content. Idk I feel like I’m the only one who’s saying this about this game

If you like Lego games. DON’T buy this. There’s no puzzles, no builds, only few levels per movies; which are very short. Nothing to collect or figure out. Just mind numbingly walking from A to B with cutscenes in between. Huge mistake on Legos part. I hope none of them are like this in the future. Just terrible.
