I would recommend this cuz majority of real flights uses 737-800 variant and its the most commonly used.If you dont have any other variants,get this one and only this is enough :)

Yes, PMDG suggest's to fly with the 700 & 800 as they are the most popular in real life. As you may know that's why they are the more expensive Aircraft's while the 900 & 600 are more rare IRL meaning why they are cheaper. I would still recomend the 800 because it has more Realistic livery option's.

Microsoft flight simulator right now until June 16th discounted highly rated aircrafts and that includes the pmdg 737 800 so now it is $50 I bought it today I really recommend buying an hour before it gets expensive as it's only limited time discount😊

You’re wrong here. If you own the 737-700 or 600, you should still buy the 738 for an even wider 737 experience. When you’re doing flights than exist irl, having the 700 and 800 give you a very wide array of flights you can do.

You buy all of them only if you want to replicate the use of the exact same airframe used by actual airlines with their routes as well. Otherwise they are all the same plane.

If they were giving it away at a severe discount to existing customers then that's different, but they're not. These models are VERY expensive. That you don't realise this says it all ;)

I know you don’t care about realism but simmers who do care about realism, what if they wanna fly American Airlines? You expect them to use the 737-700? They only use the 800

It’s a great plane but it’s heavy as a pig. Takes ages to get to cruising altitude and needs a lot of distance to descend and slow down. Can’t wait for the MAX to be released. If you consider a PMDG Plane, you should buy the 777!

I had the b737-700 without knowing that the b737-800 was to come out, I still got the b737-800 months after it came out because I wanted to see the difference, kind of disappointed that there isn’t much of a difference, I think that people who already have a pmdg 737 they should at least get a discount for other variants

I have the 737 max but hear me out, sure people hate it but i dont play msfs realistically. I usually start my flights at the runway and when i arrive at my destination i taxi to the gates. Overall i have not had any other issues with the 737 max other than it going down by itself. Edit: i brought the 737-800 and i have no regrets

Not to mention that for xbox users if you purchase the 800 and attempt to fly it only to get black screens…not worth the risk. I got the 600 and did the tutorial flight no black screens. I’m trying to resist the temptation now.

I purchased it months ago and I’ve never experienced any black screen or crash, but I have this buttons lag where it just keeps pushing it while I’m not doing anything… And I also hope efb will be released on xbox soon even though it probably won’t

If you're getting "black screens" with the xbox version then you MUST, for your own sanity, reach out to company support. They OBVIOUSLY have an easy fix. Why? - that's a console...hardware is fixed ;)
