Lots of hatorade in the comments from people that don’t own the car, or someone saying it’s not a real M. I like the idea of checking every box, but just for reference; this car is missing a few things. Missing drivers assistance package and the parking assistance. Which is the 360° cameras. I don’t have any problem with my CCBs. And the brakes and drivetrain, xDrive anyway, is literally lifted from the M5. They’re the same brakes. Probably missing the M Drivers Package. Which lifts the top speed to 184. Extended leather is actually the base leather, the car clearly has Full Merino. Easy to mix up the verbiage. The Jersey knit on the pillars, I can’t stand. Mine looks like panty hose. Santorini Blue is amazing. Agree with the side skirts. The flappy carbon isn’t great for the price.

Mu husband suggested getting the 2024 M340 instead of the M3 because it’s a lot cheaper. Besides not having a manual and the Isle of Man green I want, I think the M340’s front end is a lot uglier than the M3. Just my opinion…

I have the iDrive 8 on my 23 X7M 60. Not a big fan of the day to day use. But it looks really cool. I’m a big fan of the iDrive 7 for the cars. Glad to see the M4 is sticking with the 7 for a little bit.

@@oiskinheadI know! I guess I got lucky! I got an allocation in November for my M4. It took a ride on the Orion Highway, arrived at Brunswick Thursday and is currently in VPC. My CA told me mine was one of the last allocations for their dealership. Luckily it has iDrive 7!

There are only pads available, Brembo and others do not make BBKs because it would be a downgrade even from steels.

I’m really curious to know about the comfort of the buckets for daily driving. I really want the buckets but I’m not sure they will be up to the task for daily use

Once you master how to get in and out of them, they are great. If you are going to transport alot of people in your car they are thin and makes the back have a lot of space but are not easy to get in and out.

I know this is subjective, but that blue exterior with the orange interior is godawful. Then you add insult to injury with gold colored calipers.

The carbon ceramic calipers only come in one color. The steel brakes you can order with red, black or blue calipers. Carbon ceramics only come in gold.

I put in my order for my G80… had a quick thought about going to the ccbs. So I should skip for sure?! My wallet will be happier lol. I think Im going to add the full leather (Fiona). Torn on the carbon buckets. I will def have some longer road trips and I just dont know if they would be reasonable. I rest my left leg to the side and I think that will get bothersome after a while. Plus my wife might get mad getting in and out lol.

Try to sit in the carbon buckets to make the decision. They are amazing and make the car. I have used my car on very long 6 hour plus trips and been totally fine.

Obsessed garage said there’s nothing special about this m3 - that everyone will be making this recipe in a couple years. Maybe, but there’s also the chance BMW will go to AWD for their M3’s moving forward to extract higher engine power levels like m5 - which might make this special in that it could be the last RWD m3

It’s already happened. Xdrive awd is available on the M3, just not in manual I believe. Only difference is rwd is still available, maybe it won’t be in the future. At least with xdrive you can turn awd on and off so kind of best of both worlds.

At 3,990 lbs and numb, unresponsive steering... thanks, but no thanks. The modern BMW M cars are family sport sedans, not drivers sport car how they used to be(E92 for example).

@@PrecisionSportIndustries Yes, I did. I test drove M2, and M4 with MT and didn't like it because of steering and shifting. I went with Shelby GT350 instead because GT350 check all boxes for me, it's remind be of M3 e92 but better around the corners.

I cant fault a brother that selects a GT350. thats great taste all around. However, (other than too heavy) Ive heard this gen is pretty decent in feel and driving dynamics category. Not like E46 M3 feel, but good.

I've had my E92 for 5 years now. I still love it love it as much as the day I bought it. The V8 Sound is worth the price of admission by itsself. It's beautiful, fast and classy. Mech vs Computer steering, I can deft agree with. Feeling the road makes a drivers car. It's also going up in value. It's 10k more than when I bought it! Enjoy your day, Friend.
