Should You Buy the Hot Wheels X Transformers Optimus prime?

Hello everyone welcome to another discussion video on the hotwheels x transformers Optimus prime. This has been a collab that I have been waiting for all of my life as I am a huge fan of the transformers G1 cartoon series. The only thing that makes me scratch my head is the price.

My advice is dont buy this. If you want a g1 accurate figure get the transformers missing link C-01or C02. The original g1 mold for prime but with modern articulation. Plus its alot larger and cheaper. Dont buy this waste of money.

Short answer: Transformer fans will go crazy for it and buy it no matter the price. Hot wheels fans will say its overpriced and not worth it. Loving these short hot wheels videos keep them up bud

As a fan of of Transformers and hot wheels it is over priced, this should be around the $40-$50 price mark.

But its a piece of art there's never been anything like its also like you said a collaboration between them and it's very expensive to get the copyright from Hasbro, not cheap but will double in value in no time, hope you didn't miss out!

IMO it depends how big of a fan you are of ethier. There are both ups and downs of it, like it being a diecast Optimus. But then again, no trailer, questionable looking head, and of course other options. Other Transformers products around this price are larger and dare I say better than this. I think HW made it so expensive bc they know Transformers and fans are used to shelling out big bucks for other Transformers merch (no offense TF fans) 😅.

The only why $80 would be justified is if it was limited to 20k numbered units or somewhere in that range. How is this worth $80 if they decide to make a million of them or not tell anyone production numbers.

Imagine how difficult it would be to obtain if they were numbered. For me it’s not the quantity produced. To me, there are plenty of hasbro transformers that are cheaper and are larger. For example, the missing link Optimus prime is fully articulated and posable. That’s $60. This doesn’t seem very posable.

$80 plus tax and shipping so it’s going to be near $100, it’s overpriced but people will still buy it. Yes there’s better Optimus prime G1 that is bigger and better for almost the same price, people who will buy this hw version is probably because it’s unique as in collaboration with Mattel and hasbro and its small and you probably won’t see another version or maybe you may such as nemeses prime version using the small casting as HW is know for recoloring the small casting

I think most people will get it for the collector value of proof that Mattel and Hasbro collaborated which is huge. The thought of hotwheels x transformers being a thing is crazy but for me, it’s not worth $80. I mean who knows maybe in two years it will be worth double.
