Should YOU!!! Buy the Ketron EVENT???

This is an Independent Honest Review and the 1st Impressions/ Pros & Cons of the Ketron EVENT.

I bought one nearly one year ago. No regrets what so ever! No keyboards has the same live sound as the Ketron Event has.

stupid remark as to the sliders. They have NOT been painted over, actually they can be given another colour by going into the programming mode. So the colour can be changed, the fact that the blue stripe on the silder remains.....what do you expect.........stupid comment really..............

The reason I get the Genos2 instead. I agree it has a good sound, but not a friendly user Custom user style from the previous model can’t be used on the Event Yamaha Tyros5, Genos1 style can be easily transferred into the new Genos2

As far as the organ being louder, slider was all the way up while the other instruments were set lower. As far as the voices not changing. Not a big deal and I believe my Korg PA1000 works the same way. Also, master volume on the Korg is on the left and I hate it. I would prefer it to be on the right as on the Ketron and most mixers.. With all the volumes on the left for the "band" is perfect on the Ketron. If your are gong to do a review, how about more on fundctionality and less on things that don't matter.

What a bad comment. Own an Event and never regret to buy it, it's a great instrument, imho the best arranger, regarding the sound in any case - and that is the most important thing. You said nothing about the new real voices and real styles. Learn the instrument!

actually your entire comments are ridiculous. I would advise anyone watching this nonsense to check on some very good demos here on youtube....By the way, I have the Event and it is the most realistic arranger keyboard on the planet. Korg and Yamaha are just as good but not as realistic in giving the illusion of a REAL BAND backing you up. If you are a singer, let alone a singer who gigs, the KEtron is your best bet !!!!

Spot on! I bought mine 2nd of May and has done alot of gigs with it allready. I play alone and in a duo. The SOUND is most important to me - therefore no questions - the Event is way above any other brands when it come to the rythm section. It feels like I have a drummer behind me when im playing🙂

when you have played on it in a few minutes you know what to do and by the way the Böhm organs from 1990 to 1993 has also some wery high organvoices even when the volume for the selected organsound is lowered to around 100 that's why you have different organvoices some are loud and some are silient
