Assuming the Flex 5i is Intel-powered, the Flex 5 AMD Ryzen 5 5500U variant will be better overall, especially on your use case for playing games as it has a better built in GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) than the Intel variant

Lenovo: SOOooo not worth the headache! I'm a teacher without a computer; called Lenovo to buy an Ideapad Flex 5 AMD. Was "upsold" because they were out of stock with the AMD so I go up $400+ for Intel. More $$ for expedited delivery. Day after order: Invoice at another $100 increase. Days later, instead of the UPS shipment details, I get an email that there will be a 30 day delay. WTF? Teacher! Covid! I need a computer! Called to cancel. Nope. Won't give me UPS but won't give me a cancellation confirmation either. Instead my case is being "reviewed." I'm out a thousand bucks, don't have a computer, and I will NEVER RECOMMEND LENOVO!! Might I suggest an HP Spectre x360 14?
