I’ve played the game and it’s really good. All the haters must be mad bc it’s only console and they don’t know how to drive with good physics. Of course bigger tracks are arcade-ish. There’s not much wheel involved. When you are racing bullrings . That’s where I seen huge improvements and multiple grove racing

If anyone on here knows. Is this an improvement physics wise vs The Tony Stewart and SRX games? How's it compared to the old World of Outlaws games on PS2, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360? I don't expect simulation physics. I do expect the need to turn right in the corners tho. I don't want to waste my money if it plays like the Tony Stewart, and SRX games.

I played a little of Stewart’s game but didn’t play any of the SRX so hopefully someone has more experience with that. But I have had to turn right a lot through the corners or it would spin out on me, I only had 15% driving aid on for stability help but everything else is off for me

IT looks fun, and that'sthe only thing that really matters. It's still a game at the end of the day. Especially with iRacing already existing for the hyper realistic simulator side, a more "arcade" type game is totally cool with me, if it's not too expensive I think there's a real high likelihood I'll by this game just because I'm such a massive fan of sprint car racing it feels sacrilegious not to!

Yes you should, clearly improved from Tony's ones or from SRX The game, which already is/was fine piece. But, I would need good XsX pad settings and good settings for Fanatec CSL DD Pro 8nm. edit (and btw, this comment's from Finland, yes even europeans can play dirt oval games, weird isn't it).

It doesn’t have the physics of iracing, nothing on a console will be as realistic as that. For a console game it is better than the tiny stewart games but still can be slightly unrealistic and stuff like most console games. You just have to have expectations of other console games with a great concept of the career mode, that’s what sells the game for me. And Neben and the Gavin’s are awesome! Love racing against them anytime I can, they are all very fast great drivers

So far the AIs are really good, the drive all different lines and will actually wreck each other and bring out cautions, it’s quite interesting because most AIs in games don’t even touch each other

The looks kinda change but I haven’t felt to much of a difference in the track itself so far. And as far as physics it’s nothing like iracing, you’ll have the most realistic racing there but for a console game it’s like some others when it comes to contact with other cars. Not super realistic but you can’t have your hopes to high for a console game. I do think it’s a fun game to play personally

Everything from track conditions to set up to contact with other cars and the damage model were highly realistic for such an old game. I was hoping they would take some lessons from that game

In general, the game is very unrealistic. In my view, it is just a refined version of the Tony Stewart game. The AI behaviour is still odd, and the track physics are very basic. The grip level is the same everywhere.

That’s a tough question really, it really depends on the kind of racing he would rather do. The console game is more of an arcade style, still a ton of fun but could get stale after so long of playing it, but they are adding mods and some tracks in the future I’ve heard. Iracing is more realistic racing, has the irating system so you race against people your skill level and can progress up the ranks. All depends on what he would rather do. Also iracing is more money over time so you have to put that into a factor

Well there a monthly/yearly subscription for iracing and after the base content you get with the subscription you have to buy every car and track you want to race which is like $12-$15 each. So it can be quite expensive starting out, but once you own them you always have them, they don’t go away

@@Armed4Gaming Okay I just looked it up, and the track record at Knoxville is 125mph. Your minimum speed is over 140 with top speeds nearing 170. Very clearly not a realistic depiction of pace. Still it's a console game with arcade physics...still looks fun!

@@michaelbrown7661 You don't need an expensive computer to run iracing, i run it well even in vr on my laptop which is nowhere near top of the line. as for the wheel vs controller thing, i would like to use a wheel for this particular game because i think it would help me be more consistent and run next to the ai without crashing into them. just too bad my wheel isnt compatible with my console. i do enjoy using my controller for some racing games like forza horizon or need for speed etc its nice to just sit back and casually play them with controller

This is literally Tony Stewart All American Racing….almost no improvement What would have been better is to do a pavement short track game that coversfrom late models toARCA Menards. At least that would be original.

It’s better than that game to me, there’s a ton of sliders in the game you can mess with to change AI skill range, how much wheel to wheel contact affects the car and a lot more

Iracing is partnered with monster games to make it, so yea I’m going to see the differences, obviously it’s a console game, I didn’t expect the racing to be like iracing but the looks of track I thought would be more on point to iracing. Some tracks are really similar but others like Knoxville here are way different and that threw me off

Well iracing and monster games created the game, so I was wondering how much like iracing it would be. Obviously it’s not and that’s fine, it’s a arcade style of racing that’s normal for console games. It’s a ton of fun, I’m still running through the career mode now

Also I thought the tracks would look more like iracing, like Knoxville looks nothing like it should and it was odd. So I definitely was gonna bring that up. Iracing has a lot of tracks scanned for iracing so I thought they would use some of that on this game

@@Armed4Gaming it is. But playing on legendary, and no speed to be found. Setup literally does nothing. Car just seems to turn in its own when an AI gets close. I’ll get lapped and hang with the leaders for 3 or 4 laps. Yet they are running almost 2 seconds faster at some tracks. Makes no sense

Have you tried to mess with the assist? Maybe something there is making the car turn to not hit? I’m not sure

Maybe your wheel to wheel contact is up high? There’s a ton of other sliders besides assist, that setting might be set high idk

So you wouldn’t have to go by a console to play it. It’s something different to have fun it, and there’s definitely people that would like to play it but only have a pc. In my opinion they are just missing out on money

It’s still a very fun game, if you watch my career mode you can get more of a feel of how it is. In this video I knew nothing about how anything ran so I was just throwing it all over the place
