Thank you for the review. I came across this bag recently and I am one of those on the fence regarding purchasing it. Not so sure about the frameless construction, though. The addition of the foam pad looks like it might take a lot of space. Cheers!

Thanks. The foam pad on the this setup helps your back feel more smooth rather than unsmooth surface. The only problem with the foam pad on the back is it does not have ventilation so it can get warm or hot over time.

the foam sleeping pad as a frame looks like a good idea!

It is recommend to have a foam sleeping pad as a support. However when you carry for long time, you will notice it can get hot and sweating.

What size pad is that? Do you happen to have a link? I have a 60 cm wide pad and I can’t seem to fit it. I don’t mind buying another cheap pad, but I’d like to have some confidence it will fit.

@@ProfessorRigel you want to get something that is around 20in or 50.8 cm wide. Something cheap like this amzn.to/3RODxXA would work. The one I used is Nemo switchback foam pad. amzn.to/3XH76hx

@@EdwardsYAdventure thank you, sir. I just got the backpack and was a little disappointed when my pad didn’t fit.

i bought 1 frameless and 1 framed version of this backpack .And i regret buying frameless one... only usable at cold weather because no back ventillation...etc
@EdwardsYAdventure4 ай бұрын
Yep. There is no back ventilation which can be sweating for a long hike. I still like frame backpack better.
