If I'm not mistaken Roland isn't used much. But 3x Gearfried, Renaud and Sublimation Knight is like $300 CAD right now for a play set which is stupid considering it'd be $30 for 3 structure decks where you could have gotten each of them plus more.

Great video and enjoyed getting your perspective. I think this is a product to buy boxes and keep unopened (if you are buying for making a return). Because the product is so scarce due to being short printed and has high value/ sought after collector rares, this product is going to age quickly in value

Toons aren’t a competitive by any means. Even with nostalgia, toons wont get bought out. I would say wait a couple days-weeks for more people to buy more boxes and flood the market and then buy the toon black luster soldier.

Don't listen to this guy, get it now 20 aint bad, its one of the lower pull high rarities of the set the price will go up, Dark magician isn't competitive but despite that 'Dark Magicians' is in the 30-50 range ( dependin on your country ) and that is a card that was easier to pull than this, and I don't think this set will be very opened - nearly every pack you open will either suck across the board, be almost entirely rare reprints (the good ones you definately have and the rest no one wants) or you hit a chase card ( which will probably be nice once every 15 packs)

It all depends if they do a second wave of printing and an unlimited set but i still think even buying a box and waiting a year or 2 you will have a profit. Tbh 1st edition boxes normally sell for a profit anyway after a year or so.

The answer to should you buy X is always no when it comes to Yugioh. You are technically throwing your money into a pit no matter how much 'value' the set has. It should be obvious but don't expect to profit long term from buying and reselling product unless you are a retailer selling sealed product at mark up

Toons will always be a gimmick deck. Will it win the first game in a match, maybe but that's with most obscure decks people rarely see. I've beat meta with plunder since they didn't know what my deck did but after the first game they were able to react better.

@@dragoon9658 Im not talking about the Toon cards but the Chaos ones, Chaos Space search broken monsters (Levianeer/BLS EoTB/DAD/etc) whilst setting GY and on the same turn reload a monster and make you draw. Creator is a +2 body with basicaly no cost, wigh whats going on right now there some bonker stuff you can do.

@@harleystachel7225 as a long time investment that's true but at release they didn't carry tha much value. On the long run cards generally go high as there's always demand but offer ceases. Glad i got 3 drnm and 3 nibiru for 2 dingirsu lol

I'm gonna buy two displays. One to open for fun and one to wait keep sealed just to try. And also to support my Local gameshop. The shop also brings good luck to me. The ammount of random good side set cards or just staples I pulled there is nice. Like I pulled an Accesscode from one box, a Lightningstorm from one box and a freaking Starlight Lightningstorm from the last 12 IGAS Packs they had >_>. I think the funniest thing for me was that times I bought 2 packs of FIGA just for fun. And I pulled Fire Fist eagle in 3 of these 6 packs. And our Judge just bought/ traded one after the other from me.

Yeah, but it is our fault that this TOCH is so expensive due to minimun print? My locals just got 1 pallet. And they are bought out. 1 box is $85-90, why kamoney print so less of this ? And they did well printing ETCO. I like toon chaos dont get me wrong, but the cards are going to be expensive just because kanomi did not satisfies the demand to the stores. Less cards on the market, more expensive will be.

"slight" price increase. Here in europe TOCH is 15-20% more expensive than the previous sets at pre-release. It makes me sad and angry, since until now I could barely afford boxes to buy. Now I don't feel like it's worth it. :/

Infernobles and chaos should have been paired with a better archetype and toons shoulda been a structure with common prints of every important toon card INCLUDING toon kingdom, the deck is almost entirely useless without that card and they didnt put it in a set named after the toons lol what an effin joke.

No impact to meta. Good... Its a mid June release. After a box which has barely 45days of official ruling, after a box that hasnt official physical play. Is this meta-economy people really want with how toxic the "collector's" market is currently? Needing to or having to pay $80+ for a $50-60 box Day minusX, from dealers who get the product well in advance at bulk rate? It's like you ppl want YGO to turn into MTG and wonder why MTG went they did.
