The games which are removed from Game Pass are the ones which are hardly played or not famous anymore, and not owned by Microsoft. Now that Activision is a part of Microsoft, it is unlikely that any of the Call of Duty games added to Game Pass will be removed. Also, I used to buy games to add it to my collection, but once I got onto Game Pass, I realized that most of the games I buy, I don't play that much, since a lot of them were through Humble Bundles. Most of the single player games I play once and don't play them again. Multiplayer games like COD, I rarely go back to play the previous CODs, and 1 year of Game Pass is way cheaper than COD right now. If you really want to buy them, you can get them on a significant sale later.

I own Xbox Series X and S as well, and have Game Pass since 3 years. AND lemme tell you We are eating good with game pass. You wont need to buy games coz Game Pass have games like - Fallout, Elder Scrolls (including online), Starfield, Diablo, Exclusives like Gears of Wars, Forza Horizon and Motorsport, etc etc. Note - Xbox Game Pass has own pricing for Indian Gamers. 😉
