In the November 2023 attempt, I had received an exemption in the law paper, and when I filled out the exam form for May 2024, it was reflected automatically on the portal. Then, in the May 2024 exam, I cleared Group 1 and received an exemption in the Costing paper of Group 2. However, when I filled out the exam form for the September 2024 attempt, the exemption did not reflect automatically on the portal as it did previously . I have manually indicated that I have the exemption, but it still does not show up on the SSP portal when I log in to check Please sir guide on this... Whats the matter is this

Sir I failed g2 in May 24 bcz of audit and got exemption in costing 61 marks and for sept.. I filled g2 with exemption IS there any amendment to score 100 marks in audit nd fmsm i.e 50% or can we normally score 40-50 ? Nd sir my g1 is still pending

I applied for permanent exemption, my exemption expired in May 2024 attempt, so I opted for permanent exemption..I filled application and submitted the same..but I didn't get any notification regarding whether my application is approved by icai or not... whether any call will come from icai?

With the transition to the new regime in May 2024, Paper 4 has been converted into a test-based module. I believe that due to my previous exemption in Paper 4, I should be exempt from this test-based module. Could you please confirm the marks required per subject to clear CA Final Group 1? As far as qualification of groups is concerned, you need to score 40 each and aggregate 150. THe permanent exemption criteria does not apply here. Is you Set A appearing exempt in the portal?

@@bhawanabhati3619 40 each with aggregate 150 till next 3 attempts. After that u had a choice either to opt permanent exemption in SFM or to leave it. If opted permanent exemption then 50 each in FR, Audit.... & if leave exemption then give whole gp.just like a new student. But it will not go till their just try to clear in next 3 attempts & till then Don't fill the form of permanent exemption😇

Dear sir, I cleared my group 1 examination of CA intermediate in May 2023 and gave unit 2d exam in May 2024 due to lack of preparation i failed in unit 2 d sir my question to you is that this exemption of Advance accounts and Costing is a permanent exemption right which can carried forward for any number of attempts right and it is not like carrying other exemptions which is constrained to 3 attempts. To put it in simple words unit 2d is constrained to 3 attempts right ?

You only need to write 2D. Remaining papers are exempted for ever.

If Group I is cleared, Permanent Exemption is not applicable. You just need to select Unit 2D

Sir I failed in group 2 in recent may but I cleared my group 1 in 2023 may now for how many attempts I can claim costing as temporary exemption , can I claim even it for jan attempt to score like 40 in audit and 60 in fm&sm. Costing is exempted for ever. You need to pass Unit 2D.
