One of the most interesting reviews I have done so far. I go over the question "should you consider an inflatable fishing kayak?" and "why"
Fisherman have been fishing from inflatable for decades, and with the evolution of fishing kayaks in the last 10 years, are inflatable fishing kayaks still relevant? I answer that question and more with my review of the NRS Kuda 126 fishing kayak. I test the Kuda 126 on stability, paddling, turning, and whether or not the NRS Kuda 126 is an adequate choice for a fishing kayak alternative. I give my pro's and con's and discuss if maybe an inflatable fishing kayak is right for your situation and needs. #fishingkayak #inflatablekayak #kayakreview #NRSkayak #kudakayak #fishinggear #outdooradventures #kayakfishing #fishinglife #kayaking #prosandcons #outdoorgear #fishingfun #kayakadventures #kayakcommunity #recreationalfishing #kayakangler #fishingequipment #outdoorreviews #kayakenthusiast #fishingtips

In this informative video, we delve into the topic of inflatable fishing kayaks and specifically review the NRS Kuda 126 model. If you're an avid angler or a nature enthusiast who loves to combine fishing with adventure, you might be wondering if an inflatable fishing kayak is the right choice for you. Our comprehensive review aims to explore the pros and cons of using such a kayak, focusing on the impressive features that the NRS Kuda 126 offers. One of the major advantages of inflatable fishing kayaks is their portability. These lightweight kayaks can be easily deflated and packed into a compact size, making them convenient to transport and store. Whether you have limited space at home or enjoy exploring distant waters, the NRS Kuda 126 boasts excellent portability, allowing you to reach your favorite fishing spots with ease. Durability is often a concern when it comes to inflatable kayaks, especially for fishing purposes. However, the NRS Kuda 126 exceeds expectations in terms of sturdiness and resilience. Crafted with high-quality materials, it's designed to withstand rugged terrains, rocky shores, and even the occasional brush with sharp objects. Comfort is key during long fishing trips, and the NRS Kuda 126 incorporates ergonomic features to ensure a pleasant experience. Its adjustable seating system allows you to find the perfect position to support your back and eliminate discomfort during extended hours on the water. Additionally, the kayak's spacious design allows for ample legroom, providing freedom of movement while casting your line or reeling in your catches. Inflatable fishing kayaks are often equipped with various fishing-friendly accessories, and the NRS Kuda 126 is no exception. With built-in rod holders, ample storage compartments for tackle and gear, and a sturdy mounting point for additional accessories like fish finders or GPS devices, this kayak offers a versatile platform that caters to anglers' needs. Despite the many advantages of inflatable fishing kayaks, there are a few drawbacks to consider. Inflatables, though durable, are generally more prone to punctures than traditional kayaks. However, the NRS Kuda 126 addresses this concern with its puncture-resistant construction and reinforced hull design, minimizing the risk of accidental leaks or tears. Another aspect to keep in mind is the setup time required for inflatables. While some anglers appreciate the quick and easy inflation process, others might find it slightly time-consuming compared to rigid kayaks. However, the convenience factor of being able to transport and store the kayak more easily might outweigh this minor inconvenience for many enthusiasts. To sum it all up, inflatable fishing kayaks are a practical and versatile choice for anglers seeking portability, durability, and comfort. The NRS Kuda 126 shines in all these aspects and more, making it a remarkable option for those who prioritize convenience without compromising on quality. So, should you consider an inflatable fishing kayak like the NRS Kuda 126? Absolutely! Watch our detailed review to explore how this fantastic kayak can elevate your fishing adventures.

Your video was helpful and informative. I am researching my options for a fishing kayak, from freshwater streams and lakes to the marshes of the Texas Gulf Coast. From what I have seen, hard-core saltwater fishermen do not use inflatables. There are very tough oyster beds and barnacles with which to contend, not to mention strong currents and WIND that are prevalent near the oceans. I believe inflatables would be easily blown about. Furthermore, seat choices and accessories are limited by inflatables. iCast wrapped up its 2024 show recently and manufacturers are paying attention. Yet, portability and convenience are paramount in my final choice and I am encouraged the latest offerings. Thank you for the helpful info.

They have been using them for decades. The biggest problem is the wind. Wind will be a problem for kayaks in general but it is amplified in inflatables for sure.

First: some answers to your video quality, I find them very informative and you hit all the important points. Now I have a question about the kuda, I am 77 years young and not as strong as my past years. I have fished out of an Old Town 8 foot kayak for many years and it just does not work anymore. I am looking at the kuda 106 because of the weight and size, I fish small lakes and ponds no rivers in New Hampshire and carry a small amount of gear and way in at 190 lbs. I appreciate any help and keep the videos coming.

Thank you! The 106 will do you just fine! I like the 126 because of the extra room, capacity, and bungee on the bow and stern. I think you will like both but the 106 will do everything you are needing for sure Thanks for watching!

I entered the kayak fishing game in 2020 with a used 13' inflatable Saturn kayak. It got me on the water for $150, when kayaks were out of stock in the Midwest It was stable enough to add a swivel boat seat.

Just got my Kuda 120 3 days ago , bought for my shallow rivers mainly (my other is an old town topwater 120) Only 2 thing I didn’t like about it is that you have to purchase the mighty Mount switch’s separately. Otherwise you can’t attach any rod holders or accessories. With having 5 on the yak, that ended up adding 120 buck to the total investment, but I was able to offset that by getting the yak on NRS Labor day sale for $750.00.also the small Skeg is out of stock till October which is a bit disappointing. Overall I like it so far. **** highly recommend a stand up assist/tow strap and a paddle leash! ***

Sorry but the mighty mounts are not 20$. Also you can use the scotty track mount plates, ot just the Scotty mount rod holders. The sketch plat is a standard item. There are US and European skews plates.

Not sure I understand taking on water. It's a flat "paddleboard like" platform. Not all inflatable fishing vessels are built alike. This one in particular uses drop stich on the seams for durability and to hold more psi in the middle chamber.

depends on the water you are in. Calm seas shouldnt be a problem but really choppy surf you would probably do better sitting lower in a longer kayak

4:00 I have this model and I could not inflate the center section to 20 pounds I called NRS and they said that 20 pounds is incorrect, the correct maximum pressure for the center section is 8 pounds. The product documentation conflicts with the label on the input nozzle. I suspect if you use a electrical pump and set it to 20 pounds, you may burst it
@thebeardedpaddler
@thebeardedpaddler 10 ай бұрын
On the Kuda 126 I have called NRS as well as referenced the website in addition to the material on the actual yak. They all stand by the 20 psi as of today. That being said, I wouldn't go above 12 on the middle.

How does it handle the wind? How could you attach a anchor trolley?
@thebeardedpaddler
@thebeardedpaddler 9 ай бұрын
I wouldn't use an anchor trolley. I would use a simple cleat setup. If you really wanted an anchor trolley you could put extra YakAttack switched mounts on the bow and stern and use eyeles in the gear track to run anchor line through so it is doable
