I did one on the Human Genome Project I took (biology, chemistry and maths) and the unis said due to the difference between a levels and degree in stem subjects that EPQs were really advantageous as there is a lot of research at degree

Thank you for making this video, I've just started yr12 and have chosen to do it and was interested in getting a little heads up on what it is like, and to me it sounds like a lot of fun to do even if it will most probably stress me out.

Is there a lot of support when choosing what to do your EPQ on, etc. will your supervisor give suggested topics or areas? Also, is there individual feedback when doing the EPQ, etc. if you are unsure on the structure or viting your sources, is your supervisor allowed to help? Also, when picking the topic, should you think about possibilities over the summer, and are there any resources which can help you think of a topic?

Im pretty sure my college doesn't specialise in EPQ's as im on summer and about to start y13 and have never heard it brought up before, is this something you can do externally or is it only something you should do if your college/6 form focuses in it
