in India as well, the mad wealth created by billionaire investors is in concentrated portfolio. You diversify when you don't understand the business. Markets price the future and future is uncertain in the short to medium term...but if you understand the business, know the dynamics and can stomach risk...BET BIG...😎

It's actually easier to diversify for him than us because he has a huge sum of money (see mutual funds which have huge AUM). But he remains concentrated because he has conviction in his picks and doesn't have the burden of liquidation by clients which mutual funds have.

How does risk management principle differ if you hold in billions instead of millions. Mutual funds that manage in hundreds of millions of dollard are imposed a cap by regulators not to expose more than 10% in any one stock.
