If you live in Central Heatingland, the hard shell case makes humidification a lot easier.

That’s definitely a huge consideration!! I live in Michigan and hardshell with Humidipaks or some other humidification device are critical!

Hard case always. Think about it you rather have a soft case that will fail you or hard case to help you for sure everytime. They might cost more but they last and will protect your guitar on the long run.

Yes! They do work fine but hardshell cases are much better at making humidipacks last longer. They are just better at maintaining the guitar’s environment because it’s harder for humidity to enter or leave a hardshell case.

@@AcousticShoppe nice. I just got a nice Álvarez mdr70esb that comes with soft shell and tried to save for a nice hard case. I live in Georgia, here the humidity it’s not that bad. Thanks for the info!
