Great video, I agree 100% on all the points you made. Reefing is a black hole for cash. I know people say you can do it on the cheap but how many decent looking tanks do you see that have been done on the cheap. There's also the idea of going big on tank size due to water stability but the bigger you go so does the cost. I think your better off going with a mid size tank with decent kit and see how you get on. Big tanks just arnt easier to care for when you are a beginner, yes problems happen quicker in a small tank but those issues can normally be fixed quicker with a big enough water change.
