It’s not the best idea, but if you do, keep it out of direct sunlight until fully healed and make sure to keep it as clean and moisturized as possible especially when it starts to peal

thoughts about Black and Grey vs Color on asian skin
@tusharistherails7 жыл бұрын
Justin Melgarejo Depends on your skin tone. I am South Asian, but my skin is fairly light. I have a colored tattoo on my calf and it looks bright and bold. It doesn’t get a ton of sun, so it’s aging quite well. The other thing is color choice. Notice how he has mainly greens and reds on his skin. Those colors look great on almost everyone, so it was a smart choice. Unfortunately, select colors like bright purple/blues don’t look the best on darker skin, but warm colors like oranges, reds, yellows, greens look good!

tusharistherails oh sweet. I’m filipino so we tend to have darker skin. But I’d say mine is fairer. I was planning to get japanese style tattoos on my forearm so more on red and deep oranges
@tusharistherails7 жыл бұрын
Justin Melgarejo I LOVE Japanese style tattoos. Sounds like you’ll be in good shape! One more thing you probably know is that black and color age differently. I wouldn’t say one’s better than the other, just different.

Justin Melgarejo i think its preference. I actually prefer color tattoo on a darker skin than pale skin. To me, color tattoo just stands out too much on pale skins

Kind of an « odd » question but how safe is it to wax a (healed of course) tattoo? I keep reading so many different opinions about it.

What made you want to get your first tattoo? How much approximately have you spent on your tattoos so far?
@jlynn4587 жыл бұрын
I’m getting my first tattoo in a couple of weeks on my side/ribs and I’m not all that nervous (yet)! But I was wondering how to tell family members who don’t approve of them that you’re getting one 😬

Are there any issues getting tattooed on the back of the arm given it's a flabbier area?
@jjt6876 жыл бұрын
Eden Maynard the back of your arm doesn’t hurt that much, the closer you get to your elbow and shoulder will hurt a little more than the middle but nothing anyone can’t handle
