3:10 Correction, while her s1 downtime is the shortest, however Elysium is the most cost effective dp printer between the 3 with Saileach at close 2nd due to her cost. Myrtle is mainly used bc of her dirt cheap cost combined with her shorter downtime, which can be crucial in certain situations, but in general, she's actually last in dp printing cost effectiveness.

To add more on why Myrtle is still op: in early game dp economy she still comes out on top of all Vanguards, printing more dp than anyone else in those first few seconds, which is usually the time that you need dp the most

Actually, I got curious and did the sums - her Skill 3 isn't that bad for DP generation. It's not super great for the first few activations (comparisons for that will involve factoring in Pots for each operator, too complicated for now). But in terms of efficiency after the 1st activation - aka how much DP you get versus time spent for skill duration+time spent regenerating the SP cost, it's pretty competitive. S3L7's efficiency is roughly in between M2 and M3 for one of those 9-DP Skill 1s (Courier and Scavenger's). S3M3's efficiency is the same as M2 for one of those 12-DP Skill 1s. Of course, this is purely only DP generation - doesn't factor in any other effects, or that those Skill 1s are auto-triggers. But it means that it's actually pretty good in longer maps. And if you have no E2s and don't mind manually triggering the skill each time, you'll get more DP out of her Skill3L7 than a Courier or Scavenger.

I don't kmow if the Maths been done for Saileach yet; but Myrtle is the fastest to start generating DP, but Elysium generates more overall than Myrtle meaning that he's better in the longrun. Saileach I'm not sure on because I havent seen the cost and initial sp on her s1, but with her e2 talent and other utility I dont think she needs to worry about that to compete with the other 2.

She can give you that extra bit of firepower in the early game (or if you don't have a nuke available). I.E. Windswept Highlands, (this is a hypothetical situation btw) Mudrock is on low health and there's an angry grudgebearer headed her way, (probably got friendzoned by Mudrock) normally she wouldn't have enough damage to kill him (and Surtr's on cooldown), with Saileach S3 Mudrock can safely kill the grudgebearer without wasting a nuke. Saileach is good but not broken AF, I'd recommend going for her if you don't have enough early game firepower. (or if she's your waifu)

Taking both Myrtle and Jeanne with S3 works really well for harder content. Start with Myrtle until you have quite a bit of SP and then replace with Saileach and use S3 whenever you need.

I picked her up after a bout of drunken gacha rolling, and I'm curious about the possibility of stacking her with Saga for some awesome cut and run action. If Saga can maim a bunch of enemies with her S2 and Saileach can bomb them with her flag, that can potentially fill up her DP to do another flag throw again, giving you a fairly rapid amount of DP generation while holding a lane against early agression. Should be interesting to try out.

another thing to note is that she is kind of pot gated. Most flag bearer vanguards are cheap. Myrtle being the cheapest Flag bearer. Elysium can be cheap if you were that "lucky" to get him multiple times. Considering how she will be 14 dp cost to deploy and to generate dp with the same amount of dp points you'll gain with elysium. Its better to just put both elysium and myrtle in a team along with bagpipe(if you have her) to generate the same amount of dp as having saileach and elysium in the team.

The DP cost problem is pretty easy to deal with. Just don't deploy her as the first operator just like Mrytle. With Mrytle S1 and Elysium S1 you can easily deploy her really fast as well and add that if u have Pot 5 Bagpipe

Bagpipe and Saileach would definitely work amazing together. Saileach essentially cuts the 6* cost of Bagpipe down further. Bagpipe and Myrtle may be the preferred choice for many, but Bagpipe and Saileach working together is the way.

@@peterdenov4898 The banner will be up for a "limited" time but Saileach is bound to join the standard pool in headhunting which means she can spook you while pulling in other banners. Thorns, Blemishine, Surtr could be pulled by chance in Saileach's banner for example, but not W, Rosmontis or Skalter. Likewise, Saileach may be pulled from all banners in the future, by chance. A "limited" banner has an operator that you won't be able to pull outside of that banner or other "limited" banners (spark system). The upcoming limited operators (as of today) are Nearl the Radiant Knight and Ling, the rest of the upcoming operators will join the standard pool and will eventually become shoperators, some years down the line.

imo the only skill that is truly valuable is her s3. i don't think you need to mastery her s1 since if you need DP print, just bring myrtle or ely. unless its waifu reason, then do whatever you want. the aspd boost is not much of a buff since its pretty small. flagbearer being 6* means she's expensive to deploy, hard to full pot to lower the dp cost, and expensive to mastery--kinda defeats the purpose of the flagbearer archetype that's supposed to be deployed ASAP to print out DP to help you set up your other operators faster PLUS provide utility in the meantime, not the other way round. just think of saileach as vanguard support.

I really don't get how people look at that S3 and just say "Yeah but she doesn't print DP like Mrytle". Who cares, look at what that S3 does. It literally feels like a standard bearer could come out whose S3 insta kills everything on screen and people would still be saying "Yeah but she isn't as good as Mrytle at printing DP so she's trash". Printing DP isn't the only valuable thing a Vanguard can do.
