I was impressed that Carnelian is also dubbed by Eri Kitamura. Her voice acting with Beeswax makes me not recognize that she did her older sister too. Nonetheless, Carnelian is a good addition for end-game content and for starters it's probably better to skip her and get in the future :)

yeah she nailed it so hard. Nearl va ayane sakura also did voiced yotsuba from gotoubun, tomori nao from charlotte and countless and her voice is still recognizable even tho the pitch from Nearl and those two is completely different, while kitamura eri differentiate beeswax and carnelian so hard that you will never recognized it if you haven't look it up

@@lickittylicks yeah and you can't hear the similarities or their signature sound at all. i got no offense with big shot VA like mountain, siege, flamebringer ayerscarpe or W va but their voice is so recognizable that i think they don't even try to make it different, just playing their signature voice without really trying new voice. like siege va will always sound like saber, ayers va will always sound like meliodas or eren, mountain va will always sounds like zoro and W is nino and so on. i have much more respect for va like kitamura eri, yasuno kiyono and azusa tadokoro and so on that really does their all to create a new character.

"Charged" doesn't change the skill effect, it adds the "charged effect" to the base effect of the skill.

Only Skill 2 “change” the Skill’s effect from “Slow” to “Bind” when Charged. Charged Skill 1 is the same as if it is uncharged, while keeping the DEF and RES buff. Charged Skill 3 is also the same if it is uncharged, it simply have the added bonus of increasing damage after each attack.

Skill 2 is definitely the most broken skill among the three. With Aak's buff, the enemies are not going anywhere for the whole 25 sec while getting blasted with sand to death

With Aak, they literally will be nailed to the ground, it's kinda funny. Well her S3 also synergizes with Aak so that she can apply the marks faster and ramp her damage up significantly. Aak and Carnelian are a good combo actually

Well, Aak's buff only last for 15 seconds, so only those 15 seconds they will be completely binded, but still a really long duration and with charged att buff she'll basically have +70% att So much power from having Durian flavored sand

I doubt an alter for her since 1st she is really just there... 2ndly there is no way they are going to make another alter after last 2 did horribly bad (ntr and chenalter) so we may not see alters for a while wich is a good thing

I think problem with carnelian is that beacuse she attacks around herself, she kinda need find a spot where she can be middle of enemies so she wont be any use in annihilation (maybe annihilation 8 could be one she is handy) so S2 probably is best option due crowd control so her attacking around outside CC5 map as example wouldnt do much otherwise.

I ponder... how would she fare if she was buffed by Aak and Skadance? Cause I got both. On that note is Carnelian just a better version of beeswax? Only things beeswax got is her skill 2 to drop a block three summon. And her only talent restores 4% hp per second at e2. Carnelian's equivalent restores 40% hp once on activation, 80% when over charged. And from what I can see while Carnelian's S3 is one of the best AoE arts damage dump skills in the game, bar Eyja. But Her S2 is capable of near bindlocking anything and actual bindlocking when her attack speed is buffed, say by Aak.

Beeswax is tankier and can block enemies. Beeswax also heals during skill downtime so she can bait damage kinda indefinitely. Carnelian deals more damage and can bind. And she doesn't heal if you don't activate her skill, that in exchange makes her less tanky. So unless you plan on using S1 and wasting dps, Beeswax would tank better.

i already have Beeswax but i decided to pull Carnelian because she looked cool got her in exactly 11 pulls despite them being NEARLY the same, i love that i have both for waifu purposes and cuz i already enjoy Beeswax so now i can double my tanky nuking and depending on the map layout, those two combined with pillar and slow/bind could in theory lockdown a lane for a good while

For example Eyja and Carnel S3 Eyja will increase her attack and reduce atk interval, but she can only hit 6 enemies at M3 Carnel on the other hand, she can damage all of the enemies in her range without limitations. So basically, Carnelian will wins against her if there's a lot more of enemies than Eyja can handle, and yeah Carnel S3 is much cheaper

Yes, you can try to pull for her Angelina can be a good Pseudo caster with her S3, but compared to Carnel, of course Carnelian will still be better for DPS

Should you roll for carnelian? Yes. Why? Because she can be the unit that demands every other unit on your team is built around her. So you can have a strict limitation on when and where to put her. That way she can occasionally do above mediocre damage for all the effort on display. Sometimes i wonder if they cane up with her a very long time ago and this is just power creep. But that's my benefit of the doubt speaking.
