My Lulu is my best friend. She’s so emotionally intuitive, loyal snuggly. She loves her neighbours and community. She’s nearly 13 now but still has puppy energy. ❤❤

I had one. Loveable and I loved him so much..I got my little Matthew in 2001 and he went to the doggy heaven 1 days before his 17th birthday. I miss him so much even after nearly four years. RIP my lovely Matty.😭

My parents have had two Maltese Shih Tzu's. One lived to be 18 years old and only started developing health problems in the last 2-3years of her life. The other we still have, he is 6 going on 7 and is still like a puppy. By far one of the best small dogs I have ever come across.

I have owned a Malshi for about 3 yrs now. Mateo is the best dog I have ever owned. He's so adorable and is naturally well-behaved. I say naturally because he has never received any training at all and is generally is well-behaved, company or no company . He's sensitve and compassionate. His personality charms everyone he meets and steals the hearts of many, even of those who don't usually like dogs. His the best companion ever!!!

I rescued ny malshi 8 months ago. She is 7 and is the sweetest little dog I’ve ever had. She doesn’t bark and just wants to be loved. Her owner had to go to a nursing home and I’m sooo grateful to have her in my life.

I have a malshi who is 5 months old who is all white. You can certainly see both maltese and shih tzu in my boy Noah and he has a big personality. We are adjusting to puppy rearing after owning a maltese and a bischon poo for many years. Our Noah is inquisitive and has never ending energy but we are loving the spirit of this lively breed❤

Sweetest dog I ever had. Very much a companion dog. Still playful at 9 years old and very friendly. Quite dog but when barks it's loud.....lol. Fearless so if you live where coyotes or other prey animals exist you must keep them on leash outside. If you want a dog to be by your side , this is the right dog breed. Mine looks like Maltese and weighs about 8lbs. Juliette loves toys but we have a high murder, amputee rate !

I have one. She has a cleft lip and she is absolutely beautiful. The cleft makes her look like she has a constant smile/grin on her face so she is the perfect positive dog as she always looks happy. She is super loyal as with most dogs of this breed, they choose their human and love them unconditionally with lots of energy, excitement and a never ending supply free kisses lol. Very popular here in Australia. She is awesome. My other dog is a Papillon and he is just as awesome. They are great together. Since bringing my Papillon home, my Maltese Shih Tzu does not cry, get lonely or get destructive from boredom.

We had a Malshi for about 6 years. He unfortunately passed due to liver disease. He was very intelligent and I swear he understood every word we ever said to him. And a sprited attitude!!😂

Love this crossbreed. Have had two of them and both have perfect personalities. Mine are easy to train but I got them from a young puppy and I was consistent. They love to travel with me everywhere. I groom and wash them myself which isn’t much for us. They’re very loyal.

I love my little six yr. Old Harley whom I've had since he was five wks old. He is so loving, loyal, extremely smart and very protective. I had many tiny dogs over the years and this has been my very favorite. I recommend them highly to any one thinking of getting a tiny.

I have a little girl named Izzy. She’s the best, smartest dog I’ve ever had. She’s so good and listens to me. Only problems is she has eye issues/eye boogs and has had knee dysplasia but she had t had problems for a long time luckily. She’s definitely more Maltese than shi tzu. She adorable, very smart, listens and plays still at 13.

I had 2 Malshi's for 17y 6mo and 17y 11 mo. Definitely looking at getting another one. No major health issues until they were 15 1/2 and 17 1/2 respectively. Incredibly friendly breed, clean, great temperament and oh so loving.

Update on our Noah... I love my Malshi❤ He is lively, lovable and smart. You have to train them properly when they are puppies and let them know who is the master of the house because they may take advantage. Our Malshi is 13months old now and he brings us such joy each day. He loves meeting people, children and other dogs which makes us happy because he brings a smile to all he greets. Definitely do get a malshi😊

I’m picking up my little Malshi pup in 25 days!!! Any helpful tips?
@djrivera22194 жыл бұрын
Tip 1: They get very jealous over any animals, if you introduce any animals during its life it might get jealous. Tip 2: They are food lovers! My Malshi will eat almost anything (except for carrots) They are very loving and last a long time my malshi is about 12 now. Tip 3: Brush them daily, they get very madded.

Train them well, Crate Train them for easier potty training, If you want them to go with you everywhere with you like I do with mine make sure to get them use to traveling, kids, etc as a puppy. My dog is a Mal-Shih he is now 11, but everywhere tells me he is an amazingly well behaved dog and I take him everywhere with me. I made sure to train him early and crate trained by accident lol it did not take him long to learn. Also, figured out what motivated them when it come to train mine was food based so I trained him quickly with treats. I would recommended finding a good groomer too since they have to be groomer on a 4-8 weeks basis because of the fur. These types of dogs have a sensitive stomach sometimes so be careful what you feed them. Hope all of this helps and good luck to your new family member. :-D is it a female or male?

I always went with a "puppy clip", much easier to keep them neat that way, and increases the grooming costs from every month to every 8-12 weeks.

Why is it my shih tzu puppy is fund of bitting everything he bites even my feet?
@AndyViant Жыл бұрын
Puppies bite a lot as they are teething and their gums hurt. Give them something to chew on. Also a dog uses it's mouth very much like we use our hands. It's a behaviour you need to train out as they have sharp little teeth.
