If you use the Steelseries GG sonar, you can give your mic even better audio quality and noise canceling can be activated then you won't hear any more clicks or keystrokes

Like do you mean with this mic or specificity a Steelseries one cause those are so overpriced and tbh I’m personally avoiding Steelseries all together I currently only have 2 products of theirs that I still use and 1 my headset (artics 3) I’m about to retire and as soon as my apex 9 mini breaks I’m never ever buying from them again their customer service SUCKS I was sent defective switches and they basically just responded with oh we’ll talk to our tech support team except I put them in properly I followed the official instructions to the letter

Thank you so much for the review, I actually love how you put the mic on the side, because that way I could see if it will fit me or not. I think many reviewers use any MIC in the so called "perfect condition" when it comes for distance and other stuff which matters. So as I can see having it slightly left/right will be still OK for this MIC Thanks,

I just bought the V3 Mini during a promotion of a local supermarket chain that sells Razer products at a deeply discounted price if you get 20 stickers on a sticker pamphlet. I thought I’d like to get into KZbin content creation after the major pro-small creator algorithm update, and as the tests show it, the V3 Mini was absolute bang for the buck for just $55 compared to $73 in my country. What a great equipment upgrade for me to start KZbin with!

I assume most people wanting a better quality using it, will be interested to run it with some LIVE post-processing at some point since it's not that hard to do with a virtual cable in OBS or whatever DAW... After applying some EQ and compression. Using this video as a audio sample, the OG mini has better post-processing potential in my opinion but I understand that it might not be so easy to setup for everyone. Also keep in mind, my attempt can't be taken as 100% truth because in this video sample this is a well equipped studio with no average person scenario presented... There's no scenario where sound from another room is coming and how much it picks up (Which would affect how you setup post-processing). There's no boom arm at play as well, some mics are better on desk than others but when you take these two to a boom arm results might be different. For example Seiren V2 X destroys the Seiren Mini sound wise on desk, but on boom arm the difference is not that significant.... And many factors like that. Conclusion: Since there's no mindblowing difference. You couldn't go wrong with either one, grab whatever's at discount between these two just keep in mind even a budget boom arm will make any standing on desk mic sound better.

great review. Since i don't have any sort of mic i would probably go for the v3. I do like the small form factor. And i need something better than the laptop onboard for conversing on work calls.

I use the seiren v3 mini, and the quality is wayyyyyy not as good as yours. It literally picks up every sounds everywhere in my room, outside just everywhere. How tf am I supposed to use the mic if it picks up literally everything, i cant play games that have microphone use because you can hear the cars, the fans, my chair squeaking, me literally walking out of my room or my door opening. Its almost unusable. And dont tell me "just use push to talk" that is such an awful piece of advice PTT is one of my most hated things. I tried installing razer synapse or whatever its called, and it literally done NOTHING.

hey bro, I think you can try steelseries gg suite sonar clear cast a.i noise cancellation. it's a decent alternative to rtx voice.

I used that software to make my sudotack st600 budget condenser mic to respectable mic level. also with Logitech g pro x mic as well. but I used a standalone mic right now.

Make sure you have a good mic cover! Thats what they are made for! Bought a nicer one and my teammates have no problems!

Love the new cord design, the old one needed a specific cord and was a pain to find one long enough for my boom stand. The new v3 can fit any c cord!

Yea the older one with that Hook up looks a lot like the same design for some of those Cell phone recharge Cables that I have , but with a funny designed plug to I guess make it harder to use one of those Cell phone cables to force you to buy theirs of Razers , I saw a person that was using a different cable on their Razer Seiren Mini , I think they messed it up pretty bad the Original cable that they had for their Razer Seiren Mini .

Why would you use laptops speaker tho? Mic will pick up sounds from speakers, obviously. Just use headphones or plugs and no problem

If your on a budget I’d recommend just getting a pair of budget iems since the mic would pick up the laptop speakers and since they sound good for how cheap they are

Great review. Just got the R3 mini today. Can't get it working on W11. It wanted me to download this Synapse you mentioned. What is this? I can't create an account. I signed on with one of my Google accounts. I have seen other people had the same problem - can't get past the ACCEPT legalese screen even with "I am a human". FYI I am not a gamer. I tried typing in any name but it would not accept that either. I see my mic in Windows 11 settings but when I try the MS test, nothing happens. Any suggestions?

@ I bought both of them and it really depends on how you use them. The mic itself… I tend to say the V2 Pro has a better quality. Price is a good indicator but as mentioned: use-case is important.

so on my birthday, i got around 300 bucks from birthday money. i bought a Razer Sieren V3 Mini for around 60 bucks. I was on vacation in Savannah and didnt have good internet and i only go to Savannah once or twice a year. Also im not used to diferent stores in diferent states, so i was hoping their services were good and the products werent scams. so when i unboxed it, i set it up and hooked it up to my ps4. when it turned on nothing happened at all. i thought it was probably the internet, but when i got back to Tennessee, i hooked it up to my laptop. still doesnt work. i LOVE razer products. i have an Ornata v3 x, and a Basilisk V3 HyperSpeed. ive had no issues with this brand until now. its been over 3 months that i have had this mic. if you have bought any razer products from the target off of Skidaway Rd, Savannah, Georgia and have any problems similar to this, please let me know.
