Law enforcement would be more likely to recognize ‘tactical brands’ than your normal citizen. I could see that being a potential issue if you were to get pulled over for a minor traffic violation and the LEO happens to recognize it as such. Not to say people with ‘bag guns’ are up to no good… but one can see from where the concern may stem.
@robertjohnson97562 жыл бұрын
Maybe in my experience most LEOs aren't gun people its just a job for them and if they're sidearm snd equipment wasnt issued to them they wouldnt know anything about it they couldn't tell you brand names but yea there are some who are big in to gun/edc world who would recognize brands and those officers tend to the cooler ones not the ones who got into law enforcement to be on a power trip
@gbell922 жыл бұрын
In some states if you are stopped and have a CC license you are required to inform the officer that you are carrying. So in that situation an officer recognizing the brand isn’t a bigissue

Great explanation as to why the SIG rattler with rifle ballistics makes more sense over the B&T 9mm
@ImNick972 жыл бұрын
A sandman k would be a pretty cool option for the rattler. Really short and light. May even be small enough to stow while it’s on the gun. Not the quietest can but it’ll definitely make the gun more bearable in an emergency situation.
@InferiorRifles2 жыл бұрын
I believe the sandman k would still barely be too long to fit my particular bag, as the Omega 9K is already a pretty tight fit. It would likely fit in a lot of other bags though

@kurt53641 Жыл бұрын
Here is an issue. Yes, .300blk is better than 9mm. However, both rounds can kill. Now enter your ccw. You own a Glock, a B&t APC9 pro with a Glock lower may make sense. Carrying same ammo and magazines for both ccw and backpack makes sense. Now .300blk will cut through IIIA soft armor. And .300blk subsonic would break ribs and not puncture level IIIA soft armor.
@Covertdaily7 ай бұрын
How is this even a thought? Why would my side arm need to have the same magazine as my bigger, more capable gun. If the main gun runs dry why not just switch to the side arm ? I mean if you have a 2 mag loadout like this guy, what Scenario do you really think your gonna need more then 60 rounds from a bag gun

In the real world 99.9% of people won't recognize a Vertx pack from a Jansport or 5.11 pants from a pair of cargo Dockers (I don't wear "tactical" pants for other reasons, but point remains.) The vast majority of people are oblivious to what's going on around them, let alone that some dude's pants have extra pockets or they've got a bag with a logo they saw on that viral tik tok video of a shooty gun guy.

My gun bag for my CC rifle is a normal small backpack. S&W FPC 16" 9mm PPC folds in half, fits perfect, and can deploy from the bag in 4 seconds (my record). I think this Vertex bag is going to become known for CC sadly.

I would have to double check, but I think the 5.11 select carry sling bag could fit a rattler with a 6-7 inch suppressor fairly well. The only issue would be finding one these days since I think they were discontinued
@The10thManRules2 жыл бұрын
I assume that any adult carrying a backpack, especially a man, has a shorty rifle, spare mags, and a trauma med kit in it. The make and model of backpack doesn't matter. All that said, I have a Commute 2.0 with a G17/Omega 9k/MCK 2.0 that fold up nice inside. The weight is not overbearing. I initially entertained the idea of a 8.3" 300B with a 17 Defense integrated folding lower AR pistol but it was so heavy that I better be looking for trouble to walk around with it.

Look at the Maxim CGS Micro Signature Suppressor… it’s basically a mini CGS Hyperion, only adding 4.6” to the bare muzzle (its direct thread). So basically a suppressed Rattler will be the same length as a 10.3 unsuppressed Mk18 with a folder.

Should you carry a tourniquet when you are carrying concealed? Does it look like you are looking for trouble?
@MxMe-su1ch Жыл бұрын
IMO the "backpack gun" is obsolete honestly. We can fit full sized ARs in backpacks now. If you've got the time to pull something out that isn't a pistol, you have the time to deploy a full on rifle.

I was looking away from screen when this was said… These are the first 2 items you should put into the backpack after the gun itself. A magazine and a CAT 🐈.. WHAT?!! Turned and looked…. Ohhh a C.A.T.

are you confident running this gun unsuppressed? I have heard some people have issues running subs unsuppressed
@InferiorRifles2 жыл бұрын
I’ve personally had no reliability issues with supers or subs (suppressed or unsuppressed) so long as the gas valve is on the correct position. I believe that most of the issues people have had come from either 1) Having the valve on the incorrect position or 2) Using lightly loaded subs.

Why not? It’ll do the job. I like bigger range bags. So I can carry my spotting scope, chronograph, tools, first aid kit, and some other stuff. (I shoot outdoor at a multi-use range both close and long distance). If you are just going for a quick shoot; nothing wrong with a little bag. If you are shooting at an indoor range you don’t need the extra stuff anyways.
