@Anisah81 If you watch his lectures, you'll come to realize that he is always advising his community and the youth especially to stick with the scholars. However, his point here in this lecture is that we do not blindly follow the scholars no matter how great they may be. Islam does not call us for something like that, the scholars themselves did not teach that and a prime example of this is that many of their students had different opinions. This does not in any way debase the scholars.

No not like follow blindly in "us not having knowledge about it and they do so we should listen" it's following blindly like "loving someone, an imam, so much that whatever he says, even without proof, or clearly misleading from Islam and then we follow him anyways because we love this person".

This is great video. The brother touches controversial issues but he poses some sound arguments.

He wasn't misquoting anything bro..free-for-alling does not equal taqlid. You guys are both at an agreement here.

You are wrong. Each and every scholar has mentioned that if they have said tht which contradicts Islam or which is wrong then they should be rejected in favor of that which is right. It is the duty of every muslim, NOT to follow the scholars blindly but to always be looking for the correct opinion of Islam based on the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah. Yes, the scholars have the best opinion, and for the most part they are right, but they should never be followed blindly, that is wrong.

brother, you did not read sh. albani's statement properly which is very bad especially when ur quoting, in this case, misquoting...the sheikh said ''And he [al-Albani] stated that blind following of the earlier scholars is far better than this free-for-all; rather for the ordinary Muslim, following a scholar is obligatory and this free-for-all is haraam' Do not mislead people by misquoting cuz thats one of the reasons theres so much diffrence in our ummah. @AbuMusaNiazi Not really. I do agree to an extent with what you say and that is completely wrong. Which madhab do you follow?
@Tothose14 жыл бұрын
@AbuMusaNiazi true that brother.I wonder how can we change that.

@Anisah81 I am not confused i know exactly wht he is talking about.in a nut shell no matter who the imam or a person who gives fatwa he could be wrong .so when you are given or shown evidence dont say my imam or shakh u might love him but he could be wrong so be serious in the religion because its a diffrence between hell fire and jannah. its the principle that one should follow.every openion can be wrong ar rejected except the sayings of Prophet Muhammed (Pbuh).

HANAFI RELIGION IS A PARALLEL RELIGION -------------------------------------------------------- The Hanafi Books When were they written? I. Qudoory 5th Century AH II. Hidayah 6th Century AH III. Qaadiy Khan 6th Century AH IV. Fatawa Saraajiyah 7th Century AH V. Kanz 8th Century AH VI. Nahayah, Sharh Waqayah, Anayah 8th Century AH VII. Tahtawi 8th Century AH VIII. Jami ur Ramooz 8th Century AH IX. Fath ul Qadeer 9th Century AH X. Bazaziyyah, Khalaash, Kaydooriy, Hilyah 9th Century AH XI. Bahr ur Raqaiq, 10th Century AH XII. Tanwir ul Absaar, Zahiratul Uqbaa 11th Century AH XIII. Fatawa Khariyyah, Shaamiy, Durr ul Mukhtaar 12th Century AH XIV. Fatawa Alamgheeriy compiled by five hundred Hanafi scholars 12th Century AH XV. Maraaqiy ul Fallah, Malaa Budd, Umda Radiyah 13th Century AH Not one of these books was authored by Abu Hanifah (rahimahullah), the Imam that you claim to follow. These books ascribe statements and fatawa to Abu Hanifah (rahimahullah) usually without chains of narrators (isnad) that reach him. Whose madhab are you following? There are thousands of other books like these, each book contradicting many others, several different fatawa for the same question, where is the so-called ‘solidified madhab based upon centuries of enhancements’ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Muslims have six authentic books of ahadees Hanafis have six books , attributed to imam Muhammad (student of abu hanifa), called zahir khabar [Ibni Abidin writes on the forty-seventh page of his first volume, "Information of the Hanafi Madhhab reached the later savants through three different ways: 1 - Those pieces of information which are usul are also called zahir khabars. These are the pieces of information coming from Imam-i azam Abu Hanifa and his disciples. These pieces of information are communicated in Imam-i Muhammad's six books. These six books are Al-Mabsut, Az-Ziyadat, Al-Jami'ussaghir, As-Siyarus saghir, Al-Jami'ulkabir and As-Siyarulkabir. Because these books were brought from Imam-i Muhammad by trustworthy people, they are called zahir khabars. Who gathered the pieces of usul information together first is Hakim Shahid [Muhammad]. His book Kafi is well-known. There are many books explaining Kafi. 2 - Those pieces of information that are nawadir, also come from these same savants. But these pieces of information do not exist in those six books, but they exist in Imam-i Muhammad's other books titled Al-Qisaniyyat, Al-Haruniyyat, Al-Jurjaniyyat and Ar- Ruqiyyat. Because these four books were not brought clearly and dependably as the former six books were, these pieces of information are called 'information which is not zahir.' Or they are reported in others' books. For example, they are reported in the book Muharrar by Hasan bin Ziyad, one of Imam-i azam's disciples, or in Imam-i Abu Yusuf's Amali. 3 - Those pieces of information which are waqi'at. These pieces of information were not communicated by the three imams, but are those matters on which their disciples or the disciples of their disciples performed ijtihad. Abullays-i Samarqandi who gathered these pieces of information first, wrote the book Nawazil.
